ibis budget Fribourg

For a “budget hotel” it was nicer than I was expecting. We were just passing through and needed somewhere to sleep. It had nice quiet rooms and clean bathrooms.

Pay to park and we had to check in across the street at the Ibis main hotel.

Excellent location which is near to highway. Also, city centre is not so far and it has near by shopping options.

We are coming here in Fribourg 2x / year when visiting our family.The staff here is always welcoming and happy to help.The rooms are always spotless clean and the beds comfortable, there are lovely shampoo and shower gel in the bathroomas, and plenty of soft towels.The location is ideal too, with the nearby bus stop (take ca.10mn to the train station)The area is safe and quiet.Also there are nearby shopping facilities, and for sport fans there is the ice rink, the stadium too.

I don't know what people complain about. It was clean, cozy and quiet - all what I needed for a calm overnight stay.

Maybe the pillows were of a bit too high profile, but this is a purely personal preference.

Clean, available on short notice

"Parking 24h for 12 CHf" is only for one exit... In case you enter / leave the parking twice, you pay twice; even within the same 24h... Halloween "decoration" not for kids.... I took some pictures with dead people down, so that we dont have to see them...

The room was clean. The staff are very friendly and nice. It is 15 mins max to the main station, and there is a bus station nearby. Easy to transport. Safe.

Clean room and comfy beds. Breakfast was rich and delicious :)

The hotel is well located in fribourg, making it really easy to access by car. The rooms are clean and well organised. The assiocated parking is very close. Teh staff is very welcoming, friendly, and can speak in the different Swiss languages.

There were no sheets for the smaller bed in the cupboard. Luckily we had sleeping bags but this is not ideal. What to do with the parkign teicket is not clear at first. There is a sign in the parking indicating we should leave the ticket in sight int he car but we get asked for the ticket at reception. Maybe removing the sign int he aprkign would be useful.

Bar open until 11 pm to have a drink, parking in the nearby, friendly staff and easy check in and check out, convenient price

Facilities a bit old, windows were a bit dirty and there was some dust in the room, ok for 1 night stay

The spacious room and clean room

Toilet was smelly. Receptionist tried to swindle extra money by clicking Euros as the currency, while Swiss Francs was cheaper when converted to Euros. ibis was charging more if you would pay in Euros (difference was 5 euros)

Was greta for a night stay. No complaints. Parking is paid which is discounted price for hotel guest.

Had to pay for parking 12 CHF/night.

The room was clean, but smelly. I don't know why the beds and linen are smelling so bad. For the first night, it was very hard for us to sleep, and I couldn't sleep for the whole night

Small rooms, just about enough room for the queen size bed and the drop-down 1 person bed.

Very good breakfast for the price

Room a little too small for 3, but enough for one night.
