    Pros +

    • Quite a good location
    • The front desk attendant was very kind. It was also cheap.
    • Location was excellent, close to town. Easy access by foot

    Cons -

    • Not told it was under renovation and not able to provide breakfast, said there was somewhere up the road, but wasnt. Property tired and dated, shower unusable, no easy access to one side of bed
    • You had to hold the shower head yourself it wasn't mounted on the wall. There was no shower curtain in my bathroom. The radiator was barely warm.
    • Free parking was advertised, there was no parking. And when the receptionist does not speak English it’s difficult to ask where I will be able to park. The room also smelled of chemicals and the upper sheet wasn’t very clean.

    Location

Dirty, stank of cigarettes, stains on pillows, shower curtain was broken. Was so bad we left in the middle of the night as we were not comfortable at all. Highly regret booking this hotel.

It was cheap. Easy to check in. The room although basic was quiet. Not very far from old Dijon centre ( 15 mn on foot)

Nothing considering the price of the room. We cannot and should not expect to be accommodated in a Palace hotel for such price

For the money it was good. Location good and bars and restaurants very close. Also very very quiet.

    Bad

Awful. DO NOT BOOK. Room downgrade without being open about it. Rude and limiter communication and no attempt to solve a problem they had created.

Good location close to the city centre, with free on-road parking nearby, and hits the spot as a functional basic room for an overnight stay. The room is clean and up-to-date, but there's not much in the way of elbow room - not that it mattered too much for us as we were just passing through.

A Wifi booster would have helped as wifi didn't quite reach into the room, and we had to sit in the courtyard to connect a computer.

    Location is convenient

The room was not made (open bed, full bin, used towels)

    Free parking at weekends

The manager wasn’t expecting us despite booking over 24 hours earlier on Booking.com. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was a tampon wrapper on the toilet floor and blood on the bathroom wall. We had to ask for towels and were given ones with holes in them (see photo). The curtains had come off the rails and the plug sockets were coming out of the walls (see photo). The whole place stank of paint which made it hard to sleep and there was door slamming and shouting throughout the night until past 4am. The shower was extremely weak and the shower cable didn’t reach the holder above.

I love Angelina, the woman who runs the place. Extremely friendly and accommodating. My room was super quiet with good wifi. The outdoor space is a great getaway from the streets. Completely walkable from train station. through the old city. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a memorable stay in Dijon.

A nice and clean hotel, especially for a short stay in Dijon. Friendly staff, easy check-in, clean and comfortable bathrooms. We loved the fig tree in the garden too. The breakfast is continental, consisting of only sweet options, but goos and nicely displayed.

While the hotel is good for a short stay, I'd say the bed mattresses are quite uncomfortable to be able to stay there for longer. There's a bit of a walk to the city center, but the area has all the necessities one needs – a supermarket, a bakery, some bars.

It's a 10 minute walk to the city center.Room was clean and everything was in working order.

Check in was a bit rough since there was no one present when I arrived and had to call someone to get the access code.

Great Charme, urban gardening, balcony, spacious room, next to old town, a fantastic deal!

Only minor things, like no shampoo dispenser

    7FredPosted on: 8-28-2024

Well located hotel, just on the edge of central Dijon. The room had everything we needed, and was a good size for a family. Comfortable beds.

No shower curtain around the bath shower, makes it hard to wash without creating a small flood. Breakfast was nice, but expensive for what it was. (Though breakfast is optional, so not a big deal)

The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming, the property is very clean, the beds comfortable and the location is fantastic - close to the old centre, across the road from a mini supermarket and a bakery nearby as well as a friendly bar/restaurant next door. Room was also very quiet despite fasting the road.

It’s looking a little tired since the photos were taken, and there is no a/c but a fan was provided which did a great job.
