City Hotel Biel Bienne Free Parking

We were going to a concert in the nearby Palais de Congress, a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was very convenient, clean, comfortable and not complicated. We were happy to have a room which faced the Lakeside rather than the street. The price was reasonable, and we would stay here again.

Central , easy to find and free parking facility is GREAT!

Bit unwelcoming night staff, paperthin walls (Loud Noise) when someone walking by the room outside!No fridge-mini bar in the room!

The rooms are newly renovated and look modern and nice. Hotel is also well located near train station.

The lobby was very dirty and gave a bad first impression of the hotel. Additionally we had no hot water in the shower. Nor evening nor evening, we were told it is one time issue they were facing.

When we were there the entire building had NO hot water. This wasn’t the fault of the hotel, because things happened. It did leave us without a shower though

Spacious room, extra bed for the kid, free parking, new and modern room.

Breakfast was not fresh. I took an egg and it was spoiled. The omelet was not fresh as well.

The reception work was excellent! Everyone was super-responsive, careful and precise! Cleanliness was very good! People at the restaurant serving breakfast were so careful and nice!

There was no regular table in the room, even a small one. Breakfast meals were the same at all four days and quite limited.

Refurbished rooms, nice breakfast

Room very hot and even though fan was provided, sleep was not great. I had booked a room with balcony but was put in a room without.

Breakfast was really nice and had a good selection overall. The location is great as it is just 5 min from the train station and the pier. Next to it is an amazing Izakaya. The rooms were overall nice and clean and looked modern

Due to the age of the building, there is no aircon, which is not a big issue in Switzerland, unless it is during a heatwave (which we had). The small fan in the room helped, but didnt manage to cool everything down. I would say it's fine 350 days a year, but would not recommend in a heatwave :-)The toilet in the other room we had didnt flush properly unfortunately.

Good location, near the train station and helpful staff. The free parking is great albeit weird to find since you need to go to a Japanese restaurant parking... However that was handy because you don't find free parking a lot in Swiss cities.The hotel was pretty clean and the breakfast was okay without being extraordinary.

There was no AC in the room and it was more than 30°. Also we had our room in the last floor and it was just almost impossible to sleep even with the fan... We let the window open the whole evening + night but it didn't help.It's kinda weird that a hotel that says "newly renovated" doesn't have AC in the room.

We had a spacious, airy room on the top floor facing the courtyard. The room was clean and comfortable, newly renovated. Very quiet at night. The bathroom was small but clean. The shower had good pressure and hot water but was the smallest stall I have ever used. Friendly and helpful staff. There is secure bicycle storage. Breakfast was good, very nice coffee. Good value, I would return.

Easy access & parking

Free parking and great included breakfast. Great view of the lake, which was lovely.

The bathroom, although refurbished to a good standard, was very small. The shower tray was bouncy, and the shower head too small. The bedroom was nicely refurbished, but the rest of the hotel needed upgrading including the lifts and the general toilets. But for 1 night we were happy.

Parking was not very good, ground wasn’t flat and parking places haphazard.

Not one plug in room. Poor location for restaurants. Very small, awkward room. Was parking which is good.

Comfortable room, good location, on site parking. All very practical.
