The hotel was cozy and charming, with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, breakfast was good, and the location was excellent, just a short walk from the train station.

Nothing major stood out.

The breakfast OK but not great Room was small but clean the bed was too soft that I could not sleep , I asked for hard mattress but nothing came up

The hotel is perfect. It’s charming, clean and in a fabulous location between the Solothurn train station and the bridge into the Old Town. We booked two rooms for New Year’s Eve (a single for my teenaged niece) and it was the best value for money. The staff are super friendly and helpful (they made some modifications to our reservations and Daniela was super sweet at checkin and when we got cappuccinos, hot chocolate and croissants after breakfast had officially closed. They have a fabulous coffee machine available to guests next to the gorgeous area to drink and relax. Decor is very pretty! The beds are comfortable, linens are soft, and the rooms are very quiet. Super clean with great hot water and water pressure in the showers. Rooms accessible by elevator, so I will be bringing my older mom here, too. Now my favorite hotel in Solothurn (and my husband is from Solothurn and we’ve stayed in many hotels here). There is also an apartment where you can book individual rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom at great prices on this site. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return.

No complaints - it was perfect!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and had a large choice of food for everyone. Hotel was over the river from the main centre but it was close to walk across the bridge into the old town.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

What a little gem of a hotel. Quirky, a great feel throughout and very clean. Walking distance to the old town of Solothurn. Breakfast had everything and was very nice.

Great location. Nice continental breakfast with lots of choices and great birchermuesli. Pleasant patio a out back. Very friendly service. This is not a fancy hotel, just a simple, classic hotel in a pretty town.

It's more of a home than a hotel. Friendly people, good breakfast and perfect bedrooms. Also usually a parking space behind the hotel available. Location couldn't be better: in the center, but away from the hustle and bustle.

the hotel was in the heart of Solothorn just 3 minutes walk from old town. the staff were nice and friendly.

you could use the coffee machine in the lobby only for some hours and there was no kettle or coffeemachine or minibar in the room. for the breakfast there were only cold choices.

Breakfast was pretty good, classic european/german continental style with cold options.

Everything pretty basic and a little 80s Stylish... Good Coffeemachine, free Coffee in the Lobby. Friendly staff at check in. Very central location near the Aare River and close to all the cool restaurants there.

No warm breakfast like scrambled or boiled eggs. Airventilation in the bathroom was running long and loudly.

Perfect location, comfortable room, spotlessly clean, car space & correct price.

Hotel is very near the railway station, can walk to the hotel. My customer is in Grenchen, suggest me stay in this nice town. It is really nice, can spend half day to go around. The hotel people is very nice, even can't speak much English, But still trying their best to help me. Room and breakfast is very nice. BTW, when we check out, finally I found the WiFi password is wrote on a piece of small paper and sticker on the TV.

Location was good, near the railway station, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The shower was very small and I am a slim person 78Kg, no means to make a drink in the room, no bottled water either, drinks could be made in the lobby but not much use when on the forth floor. Other cheaper hotels in Solothurn offer a freshly cooked egg, which is a nice touch.
