The Aerie Riverside

Peaceful, away from crowded city, delicious food, lush garden, and comfortable surroundings. Despite being away from main lobby and restaurant, wifi was good in our bungalow. Comfortable beds, good amenities in the bungalows, morning coffee from deck

Bring mosquito repellent. We went in rainy season and mosquitos at night. We had good mosquitos repellent so we were protected. Staff burned citronella while we dined so that keep them away.

The balcony view of the river is amazing. All of your preconceived ideas of staying in a jungle will come to life here!

My room was listed as river view. The view was not in the room but in the building. Still amazing and worth it just not exactly as I thought. In a way the balcony overhanging the river brought the people from the other rooms out to mix which was fun.

Room is comfortable, has beautiful dark wood. Everything we needed including hot water kettle. The best part about this place is the river and the sound of the insects & frogs at night. Nice seating area right over the beautiful river (beware of mosquitos!) One of our favorite locations we've stayed in northern Thailand.

Located in a quiet & peaceful town right on a river. Can sit on a deck above the river & listen to the sound of the water over the rapids.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location, just next to the river so you can take a morning swim.Our room had some ants but the host promptly changed us to another room.

Rooms and facilities could be improved. There's a nice terrace over the river but it was dirty and it looked a little bit abandoned. It looks like the business is runned by kids.

I like the river view from my balcony, room was very comfotable and clean.

Value for money was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was great and considering it was on the Main Street it was lovely and quiet.

The room wasn't looked over prior to our check in. It wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped and it smelt as though the windows hadn’t been opened in months - just a bit dusty and stuffy.

I was riding the May Hong Son loop. I got dark after many hours of riding so I need somewhere to crash. I stayed in a tiny room with just a bed and bathroom. The bed was comfortable but soon realised that there was no hot water and didn’t brave a cold shower as it was already very cold outside.

Right above the creek, a beautiful spot. It was great value for money. I had a scrumptious meal right next door. Thai Red Curry with Chicken

Some animals in the back - but as a farm I would not call it.

Farm animals - most of them rabbits in very small cages...? Farm area more dirty and not very pleasant.Got wrong/smaller room than paid. Anyway the room was too small - felt as Gulliver at the dwarfs...Therefor cancelled my second booked night in the place.

Comfortable huts in a lovely setting above the river.

The owners were really friendly and we spent an enjoyable evening on the balcony watching the jungle and relaxing

Steps down to the river were not great

Beautiful place, very green and a big veranda overlooking the river. The owner has a feeling for plants and is happy to let his guests try the herbs he plants in the garden.

I love the location. Very peaceful. Charming rooms are basic but comfortable. Place has a lot of character.

Getting pretty tired these days. Needs renovation.

The room was modern and up a set of stairs which gave good views of the jungle from the balcony.

We had an amazing time in the Aerie Lodge.When we arrived for check-in, we were welcomed with helpful and smiling faces. We were able to organize our next day trekk and even rent a scooter directly from the staff for 250 bahts/day.Our room was very cute and pristinely clean.We greatly enjoyed the deck area right above the river where the atmosphere was both relaxing and pleasing to the eye. The small beach by the river, accessible from the premises, was very enjoyable after a day of traveling.Overall, both the beauty of the scenery and the kindness of the staff completely won us over and made our stay very special. We 110% recommend!

Laundry is a little expensive but we were happy that they provided the service.

The balcony with view on the river was very pleasing. The room was clean and lived up to standard. The people there were very helpful and pointed us to where to go and when. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely come back
