- The hotel is very close to the railway station. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons -
- The room was quite small, the television didn't work well and the remote control stopped working twice during my stay. The desk was too small to work at.
- Needed a laundry facility!
- I’m not a fan of duvets. They take a bit of getting used to.

Breakfast was excellent quality and lots of choices. Room was small and nice. Very clean. Next to the train station but did not hear a train.
Google Maps took us to the front entrance which was locked and on a small street without parking. Make sure you read all instructions sent to you after booking. We needed to drive around back, where it was dimly lit, to enter through the back door.
Easy access from the rail station. Family bedroom has a nice large bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and delicious.
Smoke odor in the hallway was strong.
Very nice and comfortable at a convenient location close to the station and town. Excellent breakfast that is over the top.
Issue with the modern new shower faucet to cool down the water. Wall lamp can use some repair.
Great location. Quiet rooms and spacy
Organised late check-in
The room smelled like smoke and there was no hand soap to wash your hands in the bathroom
Love the location very near to SBB train statio. Room is spacious enough to open luggage and bed is very comfortable. Staff on duty very friendly. There are 2 restaurants nearby,1 Swiss and 1 Italian and the staff is very helpful to help us make reservation for the restaurant. Will come back to stay here if I'm visiting Olten in the future.
Close to bahnhof but still quiet with the windows shut. Easy to find and access. Nice large room, if a little basic (no fridge, but nice sofa).
It was all done online with a WhatsApp linn to open the door of the room! All very random, but meant there was no human interaction at all, so I gave the staff a good rating, but I never came into contact with any Also you have no control over the heating (it is cold March evenings). Seems to be done centrally so I kept window open until I went to bed in order to keep room cool.
We stayed at Amaris Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days in a family room, and our experience was absolutely fantastic. The hotel staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The service was one of the best I've ever experienced, and the hotel excelled in cleanliness and comfort. I would definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation.A special thanks to Pascal and the entire hotel staff for their exceptional hospitality.
nice mattress, nice bedcover, functional room
Only one big fat pillow - too big to sleep on, and as there was no staff at my arrival after 8 pm no chance to get a fdigfetent one. I slept with a rolked up towel :-(My room was literally on plattform 12 if the busiest station in Switzerland. Passenger ir freight trsi s every few minutes. no way one could kerp the window open. 2 ornamental curtains, not wide enough to block out light. The rain shower might be nice fir some, but if you do not want to wash your hair you are left with a slim handheld shower head, that you need to hold.
Was upgraded to a bigger room! Great shower, very comfy bed, and a very good choice of food for breakfast. Our upgraded room was made up for single occupancy, but we pointed this out and this was corrected immediately with a small bottle of wine as an apology. Great service!
We couldn’t get the TV to work, but that could have been our fault.
Amaris Hotel is really a central hotel, right next to the train station (we do not hear the trains).Rooms are spacious and spotless clean. With a Table to be able to work.Hotel is "card-free" so you need a phone to access all parts of the hotel (use wifi).
2 buildings, it would seem that one building can only be accessed through the lift (street entrance closed, and no way to access it by foot)
Very smooth online check-in after last minute booking same evening. Access to hotel and room via online tool with virtual key to open front doors and room. Very clean and convenient „comfort room“.
All good in the context of a perfectly located hotel just a few meters away from a central train station. Downside: view is either railroads or parking lot. Details: only one standard pillow, no extras in bathroom, door not really soundproof.
Good location, large room. Great breakfast.
Strange lighting both in room and in bathroom.ģ
Not good.
Pictures and reality absolutely do not match, the noise was terrible in my room you could hear conversations from other floors, the TV from the neighbors and the bed was next to the front door. The entrance to the hotel was sleazy like a pub. My room smelled of intense aftershave and all in all the atmosphere of the hotel is really outdated. I left the hotel and moved to the B&B HOTEL Oftringen.
Good location and breakfast, friendly staffs.
I booked a family room but "basement room" was given when I arrived. No one can imagine staying in a basement hotel room during the trip. The hotel should stop providing basement rooms to guests.
The property is well located near the train station, our room was exceptional, we were close to the bridge that takes you over to the old part of town, which is lovely. The room was very large, the bathroom is large and has everything you need. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Olten.
Nothing to dislike
Small and nice hotel very close to the Olten railway station. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Good value for price.Very practical for a short term stay near public transportation (Olten railway station is an important railway junction with very frequent and direct rail connections to all parts of Switzerland, including Zurich Airport).
The online check-in/hotel entering is a slightly complicated - could be confusing for some people
