Pros +
- Central, very comfortable
- Well located, clean and full of charm. The appartment was really nice, big and clean. The price is definetely good for such a place.
- Everything about the property, bar two things, was great. The location, value and comfort of the flat were all good.
Cons -
- Stairs very narrow and steep
- The main problem was that there was zero communication during my stay. This is not an exaggeration. I had a problem (below) and tried messaging using the system through booking.com (which is what they used to give me the key information beforehand) and I tried SMS messaging and there has never been a response. I was travelling for business and so it was a genuine problem that the WiFi wasn't working. And yet there was no attempt to answer my concern. Thankfully, I had enough leftover mobile data from my previous trip that I could avoid a disaster.
- The owner doesn't respond to messages and when calling you hear 'Bonjour', and then it hangs up. This resulted in me having no Wif access for my three night stay. One of the towels seemed used and smelled bad, and the shower has no good air circulation to get rid of moistureThere was no way to clean the cutlery provided, or to get rid of your trash. The bed wasn't comfortable and could use a repair, you're not sleeping ergonomically. There was no way to open up the window to let in fresh air in the summer without attracting many annoying small insectsThe room was very small with almost no space to move around or to stash your stuffYou could hear other people staying in the building or around the room talking, even in the middle of the night.Parking near the location was nigh impossible so I opted for the secure parking lot nearby, still quite a walk away

The room was cheap for a three night stay and the location was right near the city center

The location was amazing between the ancient bridge and the cathedral. The cleanliness was especially remarkable in all the spaces, including the toilets inside and the shower plate taps. Neither were bad smells.
For my family, without any mobility problems, it was great being in an ancient, restored old building. However, I would not recommend it for someone with leg problems, as the little, snail-like staircase would not be suitable. A minor observation is that the shower had little pressure.
Nice place for short stay. Very central and comfortable. Once you know the details, it is easy to get in. Checkout time was easily extended on our request.
We got just 2 small towels, we were 4 persons.Room walls no so tight and you can hear noise from other rooms.Cleaning lady was a bit pushy as she was not informed on delayed check out.
The apartment was well equipped. The location was good... a few meters from the church and the river. For the price paid it was absolute value for money.
The ground floor studio has a wooden staircase adjacent to it which creaks everytime someone uses it. Also I was woken up at arond 0530 in the morning by some people taking loudly in the street outside near the studio window.
clean and comfortable for short stay in the town after a concert. easy to get in with room and door code sent by email
do be aware steep circular staircase for access
Initially thought I had booked a hotel, this was a cozy self catering apartment. Location was fantastic for the old centre. I had travelled to Limoges as my local airport closes for the winter & I needed to get to North England. It was a trial to get to Limoges, trains cancelled, bla bla car not turning up BUT I got there a day late and booked to get my next flight in good time. Stairs very steep so not great if you have big luggage or vertigo. Internet was not working and this was not dealt with before I left. They booked me a cab to airport (30€) and my driver was lovely. I loved the tiny apartment & such a bonus to be in the heart of old city as I’d only needed a bed for the night.
Wi-Fi wasn’t working and no help available. Router was located next door so not able to reset. Very steep stairs.
Very clean and organised
The bed and pullows are awful The mattress is very soft and small i slept my legs dangling outside the bed I am 185cm tall Pillows are so hard and square
Price value ratio seemed to be extraordinarry well.
I was waiting at 20h30 about a hour waitting on the street for somebody to send me the code, or to open. Even after somebody finally pickeed the phone I still had to wait until they send me the code. It didnt work. Only after another 30 minutes an unfriendly person told me I should better read the mails because the housenumber wass changed ?. The bed was a disaster, and should be immeadetly replaced, moreover it is too short for a standard. Wifi was provided but not working.
A small, but warm (in winter) and comfortable one person room, right near the cathedral of Limoges
The only thing which didn’t work at all was the wifi, Sent a sms to the owner, but no reply ☹
In a beautiful historic neighborhood in the center of Limoges. So cheap I half expected this would be a scam. But all good, Limoges is just a cheap destination.
The one-person studio was extraordinarily tiny, and didn't have a real kitchen, only a microwave and electric kettle.
The location was nice but very tricky to find by car, we had to reverse in the one way road as the entrance was for residents only.
Would be nice to of had the chocolate that was supposed to be in the room. The room was very noisy, could hear people walking above and as we were next to the front door and stairs we could hear every footstep and the front door banging shut.
Great value for money. Spacious and comfortable with everything we need. The bed was very warm and comfortable.
Not having where to park the car. It was difficult to find a place, we had to leave our car somewhat far away from the apartment.
Everything we needed, clean, easy check in, not far from train station
Not an issue for us with backpacks, but there would be no space if you had large luggage
Location, fridge and microwave.
No internet as advertised, property didn't fix. Poor communication-they replied once asking for proof of password entered, then silence. Told them a day ahead I'd have to leave (must have internet to work), no response and they haven't refunded that night. Inaccurate claims: no reception, room 1/3 smaller than stated, heard conversations of people walking on the street.
The apartment was great and comfortable and the location was very central. Road parking was on a very steep road.
The arrival was disappointing and no access instructions had been received. Nevertheless, with the help of a passerby we finally access the apartment.
Right in the historic centre, lovely place, very clean, ideal place to stay. Even had coffee & teabags….
Stairs are really steep - not good for young children or if you have some mobility issues. No sugar… that’s not really a bad thing!!
Lovely location in old part of city. Easy to find free parking nearby. Comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed.
There are quite a lot of stairs and the road is quite steep. This was not an issue for us and added to the charm but could be an issue if infirm.
