Kyriad Montbéliard Sochaux Hôtel & Spa

It was a good location just 10 minutes to walk tp the centreThe breakfast was really good and the bed was a dream really soft. The room was clean and tge stuff really freindly.

Its proximity to the motorway makes it a good place for a one-night stay.There is a lot of free parking in front of the hotel.We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but went to a nearby café (2 minutes by foot) where they sell fresh croissants and baguettes.The historical city centre of Montbeliard is nice to visit.

The hotel building is rather untypical, it looks like a former factory building with unusual windows and heavy metal doors. There was a funny smell in the room, butt after a while we got used to it. In general it was ok for one night.

Unfriendly service and numerous inconveniences

Our stay at Hotel Kyriad in Montbéliard was unfortunately the most disappointing experience of our entire trip. Even though we stayed for only one night, we never felt welcome. What was particularly frustrating was that, despite traveling with a 3-year-old child and a 10-month-old baby, we were not allowed to check in just one hour earlier. The hotel was nearly empty, so this could have easily been accommodated. Instead, we had to use a cheap and unpleasant changing table in the ladies’ restroom, which was unacceptable.On the day of our departure, the hotel’s ancient elevator was broken, meaning we had to carry our luggage and stroller down the stairs in several trips. This was extremely inconvenient and stressful for a family with small children.To make matters worse, a marathon was taking place on the day we left, completely surrounding the hotel. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t bother to inform us in advance, resulting in long delays at blocked roads. We would have loved to spare our little ones from this unnecessary waiting.Based on this experience, we will avoid Kyriad hotels in the future. Overall, a very disappointing stay. We cannot recommend this hotel.

Convenient for a late check in and sleepover. Didn’t miss anything, room was clean and the staff was nice.

Came to breakfast half an hour before the end and there was almost nothing left to eat ?

Room and hotel are clean and modern, parking outside, good breakfast. Location ok, not far to walk into town.

We were slightly early so we, and several others had to sit in reception until 4:30. Seemed a bit petty and it’s never happened to me before.

Close to main road I needed and good parking

The shower had warm water. The personnel was ready to help.

Shower drain was not working. Broken shower hanger. Air conditioning was not working.

Perfect room: comfortable bed, air conditioning, clean bathroom, free parking, 10 minute walk to the city center, perfect.

Nothing to say here. Everything was perfect.

Good hotel for cycle tourists with garage to lock away bikes. Simple, clean, pragmatic.

A little distance outside of the more attractive core of the town (10 minute walk). Hotel location itself not so pretty.

It was a very easy solution for us to sleep one night at Kyriad. After an issue with the rooms we’ve booked we were given an alternative family room and free breakfast to compensate for the trouble. Thank you for taking care of us Kyriad team!

Hotal is OK, staff really friendly. Cleanliness and beds OK. Walking distance to centre about 10min. Surrounding quiet, we slept well with open window and had cooling unit turned off.

The hotel had friendly and efficient staff, who made me feel welcome. Thanks especially to Chaimae for her service at checkout time. There is a safe dry garage for bikes. Location is convenient, it's a 10 minute walk into the town centre.

It's not a big thing but I found the lift really annoying. The door closed about 3 seconds after opening, impossible to get luggage in or out without the door slamming shut. The sensor needs fixing.

Sunday, the hotel seemed to be fully empty when we arrived. Surprisingly we had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Ayoub. He was very service minded and had a super positive vibe. His English was way better than average in la douce France. Explained where we could get dinner in town. Rooms are good on price/quality. ♥️

The hotel is well located near the old town, 10 minutes walk only.The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. A free parking is also very comfortable.
