Nice clean hotel, friendly host and awesome breakfast.

Perfect location. Good breakfast. I arrived late at 9 pm but self check-in was available and very easy.

The room was tiny, the pillows caused me to lose sleep as there was no filling in it. The toilet stunk, It holds excrement and the flush is located behind one’s head. It’s clean but the system is archaic. When I delivered our luggages to the office area for pick up, the staff was upset that I stepped on the floor she had just cleaned. The luggages were heavy, I left them where we were told to leave them.

Great morning breakfast, access to biking storage if we needed it (we did not as we took the train and did mostly hiking on this trip). I liked that there was the option to book for a room with or without a shared bathroom. That's good to note for when staying for just one night. We stayed for two and chose the the in-room bathroom option.

Breakfast was plentiful and all fresh, wonderful location right in the center, romantic vibe.

It is located really close to Insel station, rooms, toilets, bathrooms, all the bed sheets and towels provided by hotel were clean. Hosts were super friendly, they also speak English. Breakfast is nice and tasty! I totally recommend.

Good location near the train station, near the lake. Travelling from the train station according to GPS will be a rough road that is difficult to drag luggage. You should turn to the left (green line) ,the road is smooth, easy to walk and not far. Caution, the hotel does not have a lift if you have a heavy luggage.

I enjoyed my stay and have no complaints. I particularly liked the breakfast provided with lots of fresh bread to choose from.

If I had to be picky I would say a small fridge would have been handy but it wouldn't put me off staying there again.

The location was great, you have Lindau on your doorstep. Breakfast was superb, and really set us up for the day!The room, albeit comfortable was fairly basic but had what it needed. I hadn't realised, and it was my faut, that the room didn't have an en-suite, so it was a shared separate toilet and shower. I decided not to use the shower but my partner did and said it was very clean and the shower pressure was great.

The shared bathrooms, although clean, did have an odour, and that's purely down to other guests and their cleanliness.

The room was clean. 2 minutes from Insel bahnhof, and even closer to the old harbour. Middle in the city center. Breakfast wasn't bad at all.

The hotel is a mad house, low and high ceilings, some doors with 170cm height, floors 4° healing. But that's also the charm! I loved it. However, the one (only one) communal shower was small, humid/wet and without changing room. That could be improved.

The owners were friendly. The room was very clean.

The hotel does not look like the outside picture. It is more shabby. However the pictures of the inside are accurate. It was an old room with too few electrical outlets

The hotel is not far from the train station, but since we arrived in Lindau around 10 PM, it took us some time to find it. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the messages from Booking 1-2 days before our arrival, which required me to register; otherwise, I wouldn't get the key. Thankfully, some helpful hotel staff assisted us, allowing us to check in. One of them was an elderly gentleman, and I felt quite bad for troubling him, so I truly appreciate his help. However, I would suggest that if regulations permit, it would be better to provide a key retrieval code directly. Self-service hotels are becoming more common now, which could prevent confused guests like me from bothering the staff. The breakfast is a traditional continental breakfast and is quite filling.

Since the hotel is close to the town, which has cobblestone streets, the sounds of deliveries and garbage collection early in the morning were quite loud, waking us up early.

Location is excellent, right in the middle of the town, breakfast was very good. When asked for a fan for the room, the staff provided one which helped tremendously for the summer heat.

Really nothing that I didn’t expect. I drove, knew parking would be difficult, but the parking garage on the island was only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
