Hotel Lindenallee

WE loved the beauty of the area, the garden was amazing. We loved drinking tea outside enjoying the flowers and trees. The breakfast was exceptional!

The bathroom was VERY tiny. It wasn't comfortable taking a shower. The mattress was not comfy, really didn't help for a restful sleep.

i traveled many times, i booked hotels, but i have never seen this kinds of hotel, nice staffs, location, garden, breakfasts, free park....

Other guests were making quite some noise in their room during the late evening/night. The walls seemed to be quite thin. In general the area and hotel is very quiet though!

Lovely location - 5 minute walk from Lake Constance. Staff were excellent,very friendly and helpful advising of bus stops to get to Lindau town centre. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast we didn't get down there until 10 but there was nothing left

Perfect accomodation close to the highway and 5 min walk from the lake shore. The room was not too big, but it was enough for two people for one night. The bed is comfortable, the staff is cute and kind, the breakfast is more than awaited. The area is quiet, the air is fresh, its really a place for relax.

Service was excellent, breakfast sumptuous and the location great.. was unfortunately a short stay for us..would love to go back and stay longer..

It's near the busstop.The staff at the reception is incredibly nice! The room is clean and warm, and I really like it here. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the Lindau Insel, especially since I don’t have a car. However, that’s not really a fault of the place itself.

Room was adequate.

THE worst time trying to find the place, located in a housing estate, with one small sign hidden by large trees. Also on a one way cycle track. NO lift, but owner did offer to assist with heavy luggage, when time came he disappears. GS motorcycle thoughtfully positioned under canopy, with assurances it would not be blocked in next morning, UNTIL the Norwegian Maserati owners club arrived!! Must have been thier free Champagne allowed him to forget lesser mortals.

I loved the breakfast area and garden. They have an honor system for the bar after hours which I loved. They have a communal area which was great since I had a small solo room. Room was very nice. Bed was memory foam and comfortable. Front desk stage was very friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

A little far from town. But the privacy and quiet was ok as well.

Beautiful setting sadly the weather was awful so we could not make the most of it. Staff were very helpful. Parking was good.

The Hotel located on the outskirts of Lindau in a quiet residential area. The property has grounds surrounding which are available to residents to enjoy. At the end of the garden there is quiet access road to Lake Constance and waterside walks. There is parking at the property with space at both the front and rear of the hotel, enough for all the guests.I received an extremely warm welcome on my arrival and was given lots of information which was useful. They even made a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. They provided coffee with small cakes as a welcome gesture. They made me feel my welfare was their concern. I was shown to my room and given help with my luggage. There is no elevator at the hotel, which needs consideration if you have problems with climbing stairs. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony with table and chairs, with views towards lake Constance. The windows have shutters which help to keep the room dark for sleeping and cool in the hot summer months. Breakfast was included with the cost of my room and was excellent…There was plenty of choice. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful and there are dedicated paths for walking and cycling which will take you alongside the lake and through the orchards and vineyards that are on the slopes surrounding Lake Constance. There is a regular bus service into Lindau and onto the Island. I will definitely visit again when I can and will try stay at this hotel if possible.

The room and shower room was quite small which was suitable for me as a solo traveler. It may not be suitable two people. This did not cause an issue for me during my stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer….

Wonderful location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and very clean. Room was nice with a beautiful view of the garden (though a bit small).The hotel is located just a 3 minute walk from the lake. Next to the hotel is a beautiful park. Adjoining is a great meadow / beach with facilities and a restaurant / bar. Great for swimming and watching the sunset over the lake.

For a longer stay a bigger room would be better.

A wonderful small hotel; friendly helpful staff, a beautiful garden to relax in and an excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet location very near to the lake for swimming but not too distant from Lindau Island which can be reached by bus (free) or by a very pleasant walk.

The hotel is situated in a serene and picturesque location. The staff is kind and friendly.Our room was clean and simply delightful. We had a room with a balcony that offered a lovely view of the surrounding greenery. The room was well-equipped with all the essentials, including shower gel, lotion, and soap. We enjoyed a very comfortable night here.The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of options: fish, sausages, vegetables, cereals, yogurts, bread, eggs, fruits, juices, coffee, and tea. The breakfast area itself is charming and has a beautiful atmosphere. After breakfast, we enjoyed a lovely time on the swing in the backyard.There are two nearby places we recommend: Lindenhofbad, where you can swim, and Bad Schachen, where you can take a boat. We rented a catamaran for 20 euros and had an amazing time jumping into the lake from the boat. It was awesome!

It would be nice to have complimentary bottles of water in the room. We arrived late and couldn't purchase water on the island or in the city, and the only option was to buy it at the hotel.

Friendly courteous welcome. Florian gave us all information we may have need to visit the area. The facility has no elevator but our suitcases were delivered to our room on the 3rd floor. The property has a lovely garden. The breakfast was exceptionally good.
