Nice staff, good breakfast and very good location on the Lindau island!

If I need to pick something, it would be the size of the pillows. They were huge!

The room is definitely the old German style with green carpets and a wooden bed. What was important to me is to have a safe place to sleep the night before the race and the guy at the front desk was nice and accommodating. Would stay there again. Perfect location for race participants at the drei Länder marathon.

- I would say the photographer who made a photos of the rooms is a real talent - the rooms doesn’t look at all like on a photos. The furniture is old, all in all facilities are in a bad and sad condition - when you are entering the hotel it has this old smell- in the room you can easily hear how someone of your neighbors flushes the water in the toilet, as well as all conversations in the corridor- special place in a comments is a church bell which bells almost all the night - so at 2 am you will know the time - I understand that you cannot change the location. But you need to invest in a sound proof windows - bathroom facilities : very old, poor condition. The “doors” of the shower were broken. The water in the faucet was with not a stable temperature - either you could boil yourself, old super cold. In general the toilet looks like you are in the ship. - you know, you can understand a lot in a small things. Like for example the condition of the key chain on my photo.

Clean, comfortable, and the service was helpful as usual. Easy walking distance to the train station and nearby restaurants as well as the harbor. Although I couldn't make use of it this time, I know they have a fantastic breakfast.

Great central location on Lindau Insel. Staff was wonderful and friendly.

Decor is a bit old /worn / dated and in need of some renovation. Bathrooms are quite small and tight.

- Church was near and the bells were ringing in every 15 min, no sound proofing in the windows, it was early wake-up!- Old house, "noisy" floor in the room- Some confusion with the breakfast but eventually it was ok

We loved the spacious room.The breakfast was very good.The staff were helpful.The decor is quaint and has character.

A fridge in the room would have been nice.The extractor fan in the bathroom made a lot of noise for about 15 minutes after you'd used the room.Most of the direct way from the train station to the hotel was over big cobble stones. It was possible to avoid most of them if you took the path around the lakeshore, which was barely any longer - some advice to patrons about doing this would be helpful when you receive their confirmation letter.

We loved Lindau. The hotel, though old, was very nice to stay at. The room was very spacious and located on the island. We walked every road and lane, plus the markets were fantastic. Breakfast was very nice.

The church bell at 6am, but the location far outways the bell.

The location of the hotel was great. To be honest the ratio of quality and price during the Fakuma fair week was ok

Room was very bad furnished. Bathroom was also not in the good shape. Curtains were torn on several places and the room was cold during the night even rhough we turned on the radiator.

Oldfashion gasthause. No luxury, but nice plce to stay. Spacious room. Good breakfast.

No parking, the stuff didn’t helped with parking and the lady in the front was unfriendly

Very poor quality hotel. Pretty from the outside but the room looked as though the fixtures were out of the 1970s. The bathroom was particularly poor, very small, prefab in corner of room with mould, broken door and a old fashioned shower. Very disappointing and poor value. The only saving grace was that bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful but nothing special.

The location and style of the building

The rooms and facilities are in need of refurbishment. We were not told that construction work was ongoing in front of the hotel and very poor communication in our request for bike storage.

A central location and excellent breakfast. We've stayed here before and liked it so returned this year.

Central location on the island

No full length mirror in the room and unfortunately, the bathroom mirror above the sink was much too high , I could only see the top of my face. ?
