Hotel Vis à vis

Location was convenient to explore the old town and all of it's wonderful shops and restaurants as well and walk around the Lake area. Breakfast was included in rate and offered a wide assortment of choices. It's fine if you just need a place to sleep.

Hotel Staff is very friendly and gave all the information prior to arrival, since it was holiday season. Room, Location and Breakfast all was exceptional. Also got public transport tickets at arrival. Location of the hotel is perfect, in front of the Railway Station.

Nothing in particular. Some of the information brochures could require updates. Steps in the hallway could be identified with better signs.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just five minutes from the harbour and two minutes from the train station. The staff were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The adjoining bar was also fabulous and I received lots of good advice for things to do and see in the town.The breakfast room was bright and welcoming and the breakfast options were varied and all of an excellent quality, there was even filter coffee available.My single room was surprisingly spacious and the bed very comfortable. The ensuite was also of a high standard and spotlessly clean.I would definitely return to the Vis a Vis.

The breakfast was a buffet and included a wide variety of very tasty items, including fresh fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs, a nice variety of breads, several fruit juices and excellent coffee.

The level 3 hallway could be made to look better.

Comfortable, clean stay directly opposite Hbf-great for rail travel and close to main srreet and harbor. Breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Great hotel ideally situated near the station and harbour and within easy waking distance of the sights of Lindau. Simple room with a comfortable bed and bathroom with walk in shower. No air con but suitably cool with the windows open.

Minor points such as the shower spray which went far and wide needing more bath mats to mop up and lack of air con.

Room could have been more plush.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. In the bathroom everything worked without issues. The room was looking towards the central station but was very quiet. They also have lockers to leave your luggage for free after check-out if you would like to hang around more in the city (the lockers are not very big but still you can leave a big suitcase near them). The location is just 50 m from the port and the main walking area.

They charge additional taxes around 3,3 eur when you check-in which you need to pay cash.

very friendly welcome,we arrived quite late and reception kept open for us to check in,

my only issue would be for better air cooler system , there was a fan in the room, but it still was quite hot at times

Great breakfast, excellent location , stayed in a double room which was quite large

Did not like the fact they didn’t have air conditioning Weather was over 30c every day so found sleep difficult even though there was a fan in the room

The rooms are extremely outdated. we had the use the sofa bed for the kids and it is clearly ready for replacement you can’t sleep there. No AC. A Tiny fan was provided but the rooms concentrate the heat and we are used to that living in Europe . For people used to AC it would be unmanageable .Overall, rooms need significant renovation.Very limited English spoken almost none and it isn’t a family friendly place . Overall, The place caters to retired German speakers and it isn’t value for money.

Have stayed at vis a vis on previous visits to the area and would highly recommend Rooms very comfortable and clean and staff are extremely helpful and friendly would highly recommend this hotel

Location was great but unfortunately some individuals drink in front of train station and can be very noisy. Interrupted sleep due to loud talking and even singing in early morning hours.

Having a fire truck come through all the small streets on a Saturday evening while dining was very unpleasant.
