Dolphin Bay Beach Resort

The location is great (we come to this area often), and even though it rained while we were there, there's still things to do such as play the board games they have. The place definitely caters to foreign tourists, especially families, but the place can be enjoyed by all. I often go birdwatching in this area, and I think my wife and I will definitely make this place our base in the area going forward.

The food and drinks are expensive considering the area and surrounding places (again, catering to foreign tourists), and the bar/restaurant seems to close at a very early time (before 9pm on one night we were there).

Water pressure in bathroom was a bit off but manageable.

I can't fault this place. Stayed elsewhere for one night whilst travelling from Hua Hin.Lovely place, right on the beach. Really nice helpful staff.Food is amazing both dinner and breakfast.Rooms and beds are comfy and showers are greatPool is right outside your door and a bar to boot!

Great value 2-3BR apartments. Extremely kids friendly from the facilities (playground, small play room, bikes with child seats) to the staff. Great pools including a slide. The location is also great for a quiet stay away from busy beach resorts, and with the Phra Nakon cave and other sites around.

Food was also kids friendly but quite average.

This busy hotel is in a fantastic spot on the main Sam Roi Yot beach. It is a very good hotel, the 3rd that we have stayed at in this area and it is definitely the best so far. It has a good breakfast, a beautiful swimming pool and lots of grassed areas to relax on, including sunbeds on the beach. The staff were very friendly. It is a cool place, check it out.

Everything at the resort was superb. All the staff were very professional and welcoming. A one minute walk to the beach, excellent restaurant, two very good pools with plenty of sunbeds, board games, books and bicycles readily available. A short walk to bars, cafes and restaurants.

Everything was geared towards giving guests an excellent experience.

Location is fabulous, maybe a little quiet for some, but for me, perfect. Walk out the hotel onto the beach. I booked for 3 nights but stayed for 7.I read some people complaining about the food. If you come to Thailand and eat burgers, that's your problem, the Thai food was excellent. The staff are good, and rooms are adequate every one has a good balcony

Iliked all! We celebrated my daughter's birthday, it was amazing! The room was prepared with small decoration.All staff was really involved, they kept our cake in the fridge. The atmosphere, food, the room - all was perfect.In the evening we swam in the sea with luminescent plankton. It was an incredible end to the day.

We enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Bay. Spacious and newly renovated room, good breakfast, warm and clean pool. Many kids for our son to play with, toys and playground. The beach is beautiful and child friendly. Only negative thing is the wifi was useless (like everywhere else in Thailand).

Stay several times, excellent restaurant, rooms in good conditions. Special thanks Chief for special dishes.

You could take the safe in the room underneath your arm and walk out After complaining , they want to fix it with tape ….,.!!!!The third night of our stay the Aircon did not work.!Construction work near our room Until 20:00 pm.

Loved that it was on the beach, and they had transfer and massage service. Staff was very kind.

They should warn visitor that they book large groups of Americans that are attending a conference in Bangkok. The resort went from being lovely to an American resort overnight lots of children screaming and out of control !!

This was a lovely low key family friendly resort. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good. The beach over the road was lovely and had loungers too. Our grandson enjoyed hiring bikes and swimming. Our evening meal was good value . One downside might be a long way to a shop without a car but there is a small shop at the resort.

Nothing except would have been difficult without a car.

Great hotel, right on a lovely quiet beach. Perfect location for exploring the national park. The food was spot on.. the cocktails were just epic! Staff were super friendly and happy to help with anything you needed. They had scooter hire and bike hire and were happy to sort transport to our next hotel at the end of our stay… I’d stay again!

The bed was FIRM! it was boarding on uncomfortable, I know this is personal preference but just bear it in mind if you can’t deal with a firm bed. I think what ever water saving methods they use really impacted the water pressure, so much so that our water went off 3 times over our 4 day stay, once while I was in the shower it just stopped working completely. There were no phones in the rooms, so any problems you have to make your way down to reception to inform them… not ideal when you’re covered in shower gel and the water stops working!

Payable services (including restauration) organised by the hotel were expensive so didn't use them much. Could use extra attention in keeping the outdoors playing area clean.

The facilities was great and the location was perfect! Staff very friendly.

The food at the restaurant was not exceptional at all! :(
