Dusit Thani Hua Hin

Clean, great helpful staff.

We booked and paid for king size beds but you had not forwarder our request to the hotel so there were none available - big minus.

Food was ok, stuff is good. Prices extremely high at restaurants for Thai

Looks like whole hotel need a good renovation. Location far from Hua Hin and without a car it’s hard to get out. The hotel has a transportation but schedule is very limited

Fabulous facility, staff were immensely, professional, and helpful as well as friendly. Well away from the city center, but they do provide a inexpensive shuttle throughout the day and early evening. Should you want to go in to town.

Nothing to dislike.

I booked 3 rooms for my family of 7 plus 1 child. I wish they put us next to each other. I’m kind of disappointed

Lighting at the Benjarong was too dim. Ice cream at the Gourmet was over-frozen so it became too hard to scoop.

The Italian restaurant was excellent.

The floor of the hotel rooms are covered with ceramic tiles which are cooler than the air that comes in when opening the windows, especially after air conditioning was used in the hours before. The result: the warm and humid air condensates on the floor, leaving it wet, covered with a slippery and visible film of water. Then, when closing the windows the aircon failed to remove to moisture. So our room was humid and damp. Even the bed sheets felt damp. That also leads to mold, some of which we detected in the bath room. The room smelled musty the moment we arrived and opening the windows did not improve the situation due to the aforementioned issues. To make matters worse, I got bitten by bed bugs during our first night. Luckily, the friendly hotel staff moved us to a higher floor for the second night, which turned out to be much better. Another irritant: The gardeners in the hotel use rotating gas-powered "string-trimmers" to cut the grass of the extensive hotel gardens. This slow method is not only extremely noisy (and hence a nuisance for hotel guests) but also spews out a lot of toxic fumes which are known to be carcinogenic (just like those of leaf blowers). We could smell those fumes as they waved across the lawns into our hotel room. As a luxury hotel the Dusit Thani would be well advised to get an electric lawn mower. That would do the job much faster and more efficiently instead of letting people do this dirty work who will suffer the negativ health consequences.During a previous stay at the Dusit Thani in Krabi, by the way, I had noticed the same problems. Because of these issues I am unlikely to stay at a Dusit Thani again, even though I like the style, decorations and facilities of the hotels.

The staff was friendly and the pool guys was good

Ok it’s located out the way of everything for one We arrived and put in a room that was very smelly we thought it would go away, we went out and come back and it was the same, the hotel put a machine in the room to clean the air. My wife could not sleep all night as thr smell was unpleasant, we asked to move and there was no room we was told, next day we refused to stay in the room and if they never gave us a new room we would be off to are next destination, we had to wait all day for another room and that was better, at 13000 baht you want it good rant over

Gym was good.

Club benefits not really worth the money. Evening canapes often what was left over from the club breakfast. This was also never as promised in the Nomada beach club but just in a separate room of main restaurant which was an absolute zoo even during the week. It's an older property and showed in poor water pressure and peeling paint on door. You need a car to get anywhere and it's really more in Cha-am. Huahin is a long way!Finally checkout. No thankyou for staying, no asking if everything went well. Low level of the renowned Thai hospitality.

Liked all the facilities and enjoyed the Club Room. Most of the hotel is air-conditioned and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The swimming facilities and the walk on the beach were wonderful. Their Wellness centre is also very peaceful and relaxing.Their laundry service is also very good. Overall an excellent stay.

Would have liked a hair salon on the premises as there is not much in the town and did not want to go outside the resort. Was attending a wedding so needed that facility.

The hotel is beautiful with great facilities and a lovely breakfast. Beautiful cool, Thai style building with a cool breeze that blows through the halls.

I paid for a one night stay, ( in at 3pm out by 12) for my friends, while I was there for a week. Their room was very important, having little time to explore other facilities. The hotel was beautiful but the room was disappointing .

We have a dinner buffet at the hotel. for the price, I expected more variety of food. The staff are polite but could be more efficient. I was asked to sign a bill that I didn't order (turned out it 's for another room) and another time housekeeper brought a towel for my mom and insisted that I ask (I didn't, I was at the pool)

Lobby, garden, location right on the beach, clean room, all the restaurants, breakfast variety and staff except those for the pool areas.

The pool areas not at all live up as a 5-star hotel, poor maintenance, I.e. very dirty mattress, stained towels and often ran out since some families took too many! Overall Poor management by the pool areas, they removed our things from cabana while we went a short walk on the beach, however there were certainly others left longer from cabana but their things were not removed!

I keep going back . Facilities , club lounge , amazing pool , just a home away from home

I wish they would re introduce the male massage facility . I prefer male

Very bad hotel rooms poor quality nothing like what’s advertised on booking.com and far from the town. Also breakfast buffet made us sick AVOID this hotel

Great location, spacious , very good swimming pool, restaurants - especially the Thai restaurant. The staff are friendly and always go that extra mile to help and make you feel specialI stayed in club room with fatastic sea views. The room was very clean , descent bathroom and shower .Also benefitted with the club lounge access and complementary bus ride to city centreSpecial thanks to all the staff in the restaurant, at the main reception, and in club lounge who are very attractive , courteous and very professional I will certainly go back again

The hotel is spacious with big swimming pool. Bfast is amazing - comes with wide variety of food. Talking about a room, what I love most is their big bed! They provide 8 water bottles which you would not need to ask for more, plenty for the day (usually other hotels might just give 2-3 bottles). Beach is the next door. The location is great, very convenient - not too far from all great restaurants, convenient stores or even Hua Hin town.

Lovely pool, good breakfast, and excellent rooms. Staff was great and the hotel had a great gym. The breakfast was what was expected from this type of hotel, but the thai restaurant of the hotel was excellent.

They had signposted that people couldnt reserve a seat at the pool with a towel (great!), but this rule was not at all enforced by the staff. As a result all the seat were already taken before breakfast. We would appreciate the staff enforcing this rule. Also the rooms werent as sound proof as advertised. The gym and sauna close at 21.00 and 20.00 respectively. So don't count on going to do some sport or relaxing once the kids went to sleep.Pretty far from the action of Hua Hin.
