Fisherman's Resort

The Fisherman's Resort is a really relaxing place. The grounds are beautifully maintained and although the staff spoke little english they were super friendly and used translation apps. They helped us get taxis at reception and helped us with the laundry service. The restaurant was really good. We were really happy with the pool that overlooks the ocean. No beach chairs, if you are looking for that type of thing. They had a bookcase with books which I really liked. The resort is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so there isn't a lot around to do. If you want complete relaxation this is the place. If you want to do some activities it would make sense to rent a car. I would 100% recommend this resort and go back.

I wish there were some type of activity at the resort like yoga, or a place to rent motorcycles.

the resort is beautiful. the beach pristine and relatively seculuded. Breakfast was great. Staff were great, attentive and very helpful.

The directions to the resort should be better. the road to the resort is a bit narrow.

Close to the beach, the staff is amazing

Facilities are old and seem to be under maintenance. No food&drink served in the pool area.

First timer in this area, we like our stay, staffs are very kind, helpful and informative.room we had was big enough for a family of four, located near Bangkok (approx. 2.30 hour). Almost no foreigners tourists, However we did not have a car going places, we have grab app (thai uber) was not very helpful because where we stay is remote from a popular area. We wanted to go to a big mall , 20 mins from a hotel. I used grab, no driver accepted, i asked a kind staff. She explained frankly that it is too far, so they offered to call a taxi for us, the catch is we had to pay 1000 thai baht in order to get there and back, plus a taxi driver will wait for us, because there will be no taxi bringing us back we asked for 3 hours. It was not bad but a little disappointed that going places is not possible without a car. If you have one, it would be way more convenient.There is no massage place nearby that we can get there by foot. There is one that is near, by car, but when you have no car, it becomes problem. But everything is managable, staffs are absolutely helpful.. also near to 7-11 , a great thai local restaurant nearby, just 2 mins from a hotel by foot but beware of stray dogs though. Overall it is worth the visit.

Good location. Comfortable and spacious room. Nice sandy beach. Breakfast was ok. Staff were helpful but not friendly. They helped only if you asked.There was not much around the area. If you want to just relax and do nothing, it will be the place for you.

Overall lush greenery, huge swimming pools, generous proportion and a wide variety of breakfast, serenity of the resort which is perfect for anyone looking for a getaway from hustles and bustles.

There are some pigeon dungs around swimming pool and I think it would be better for the guests if the resort keep the beach (in front of its property) cleaner as I can see there are some litters lying on the beach and that definitely spoiled the atmosphere.

Our bungalow was relatively expensive but worth the money. It was large and well furnished. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast

Dinner is expensive, especially the beer.

Beach front where you can watch the sun rise from the room. You can also go for long walks on the beach in the evenings when its not too hot. There are nearby local shops that are walking distance away.

The front desk is only open till 11pm. Not a big issue unless you need something late at night.

I loved the grounds and the privacy

No complaints but reservations were strange I was surprised to find low occupancy but we had no opportunity to extend our stay longer This was confusing

Quiet, green and long beach

Restaurant is very good, but extra taxes and costly beer made us go somewhere else more often than planned.

On the beach, Very clean. Breakfast Very good. Spacious room. Nice gardens and swimming pool.

Not able to get a drink around the pool. Had to go back to the room, that was the only downside to our stay.

Small bayside resort approximately 20km from Cha-am. Nice and quiet, far from the maddening crowd. Nice breakfast included with both buffet and main freshly cooked. There some really good seafood restaurants close by.

I've been considering visiting for many many years but always visited Hua Hin to entertain my kids, but as they are now adults, we finally visited and I now wish the wife and I had visited years ago.Haad Chao Samran is a lovely beach area with a selection of hotels. I'd be surprised if there's better than this one. Lovely villa bungalows. Quiet and private with good facilities. The villas and the landscaping reminded me of Samui.Ate dinner in the hotel twice, food was very decent. Had a lovely time and hope to visit again (probably when the awful Rama 2 roadworks are completed).

Well-maintained resort and rooms. We loved the inside design and look of the bungalows, too. Really peaceful surroundings, so this was an excellent place for a little R&R. The pool was also right by the sea and the beachfront was lovely and quiet. Not overcrowded at all. The staff was really friendly and helpful. All in all, we loved our stay here.

Nothing major. The location was just really quite and a little remote, so if you're looking for easy acces to day trips and such extra activities, this probably isn't the place for you. You could just about get a taxi within 2hrs of ordering, to visit other places within 20-50km, if you wanted. The reception staff was very helpful in this. But don't expect this process to be streamlined and quick. Also related to the quiet proviniciality of the place, there was only 1 other good options for finer dining available near by (Sand Beach Club), other than the resort restaurant itself.

Loved the quiet location without bars, karaoke, noisy tourists or badly behaved children, and endless solicitation for sales usually experienced in tourist hot spots. Good, fair priced breakfast and other meals. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Great for morning and evening beach walks and swims in the two pools. Best during weekdays and low season (Not Thai summer holidays) if you like a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We'll return for sure.

Mosquitos are challenging in monsoon season. I suggest bringing a plug-in mosquito repellent machine for bedroom, ask for electric fans when at breakfast, and spray from head to toe.

For those looking for a peaceful and quiet resort, here you find it, relaxing atmosphere at the beach, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and well maintained garden with 2 pools, excellent restaurant and the best: buffet breakfast on the beach deck experiencing the sunrise over the sea

No elevator, soft mattress, in the rainy season ( we came before ) many mosquitos and sand fleas on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bungalows are spacious, very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves decent food, and the beach is clean, perfect for long walks. They also offer an external laundry service at a reasonable price. The nearest 7-Eleven is about a 10-minute walk away. The resort and area is very quite. Nothing much going on there. Exactly what we were looking for. Thank you!

If we had one suggestion, it would be to offer motorcycle rentals, so guests can explore the surrounding areas on their own.

Modern clean room with good facilities, clean environment and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with a variety of choices.

Lots of mosquitos in room.Make sure you have private transport already arranged, as it is difficult to find transport when leaving.No need to stay longer than a couple of nights, as there is not much to do in the surrounding area.
