Holiday Inn Express Singen By IHG

The breakfast

I had a nice stay at Holiday Inn Singen. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the train station. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was good. As an IHG member, we appreciated being allowed a late checkout. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning; it was quite hot in the evening, and even with the window open, it was difficult to sleep.

Clean, centrally located

Air conditioning didn’t work properly

It was very clean and comfortable. I liked the bathroom a lot. I also highly enjoyed the breakfast. As a solo traveler I felt safe and welcome in my room.

The heating didn't work very well so I did freeze slightly. Otherwise I have no complaints.

I was in Singen for tennis tournement and the hotel Is very close to the club

Saturday and sunday the breakfast was not completed. I do not understend

Great practical hotel in the city centre, with spacious underground car park. Situated on a city square, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Happy with my stay. We were on a road trip with Club Triumph from the UK, a lot of us stayed there. I belive we were all happy with our stay.

Breakfast good,

Hardly any staff, parking awkward

We traveled to Singen by car and was able to park inside hotel's gated parking which is a bonus. Everything is good here and location is quite central too, I'd say they offer the comfort within this budget range.

Bewakfast option can extend a bit more

Breakfast was good, location perfect and easy to reach. Room was comfortable and clean

No proper cooling system for the hot summer days

I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the cutlery, bowls, and cups, as many were not cleaned properly. Despite bringing this to the front desk's attention, I was disheartened to see the issue persist the following day.***************************************************************Also I received the following email a day before my scheduled stay at the Holiday Inn:Dear Mr. Naxxxx,Thank your for the reservation at our Hotel!During our daily checks, we noticed that you booked a standard room, but you will be travelling with 3 adults and one child ( 16 years ).We wanted to inform you that our standard rooms do not full fill the max occupation of 4 guests. The standard room has a bed with the measurement 1,40m x 2m, so therefore the bed might be too small for all 4 of you.We are happy to book a sofa bed for you, subject to availability, for an additional charge of € 20.00.Please note that our sofa bed has a size of 120 cm x 200 cm.We look forward to your visit and remain with best regards,Your Holiday Inn Express Singen********Due to this information, I had to change my plans and not bring the fourth person. I was very disappointed by this unexpected update and would like to share my experience.I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously to prevent future inconveniences for other guests.Best RegardsAN

Great breakfast and excellent location within walking distance from town center and train station. Helpful staff and clean rooms.

Excellent breakfast and very close to the centrum

One night after the football match, there were quite noisy in the bar until early morning. Just one night

Delicious breakfast, very good location, clean room, comfort bed. very help full and friendly staff.

Location, room style

Parking availability, very bad breakfast, not very clean rooms.....

Location

Coffee machines were v e r y slow!Air condioning compressors outside of room were very loud…maybe investigate some sort of sound shielding

Breakfast was with limited options only, but acceptable. The location was good as well.

The staff was not flexible to extend the checkout time. 11:00 AM checkout is not usual as it is 12:00 noon in most of the hotels. I asked for 1 Hour extension and the person was not flexible and allowed 10 minutes to take the stuff and go out. When I reacted the room at 11:05, the room was not opening as they had disabled the key card. I went to the reception and activated it twice, but still it was not opening both the time even after she said it is activated. Finally, the housekeeping lady used her key to allow me to enter so that I finally managed to vacate the room by 11:15 AM.

Very nice staff friendly lovely place wife loved the shopping in the town

Having to go shopping with the wife could have stayed in a bar

Breakfast menu, car park, good location.being near the city centre.

Not having refrigerated, air conditioner, room was hot.

Staff is great. Friendly, quick, helpful

Trash bins had not been emptied in room or bathroom. The breakfast gets more miserly everytime I stay.
