Cons -
- The hotel is super dirty and looks horrible. We booked three rooms and all of them were bad. So, it’s not a coincidence. We arrived a bit late and the self-checkin kiosk didn’t work well. So, naturally, we didn’t expect the reception to be present. So we tried calling the hotel phone number mentioned on the Booking.com and there was no answer. Only after around 30 mins of wandering around hotel, we found a staff member and he helped us out.Photos on Google and Booking.com are not what we got at all. The photos showed really nice rooms. But…The rooms smell really bad and the floors were quite sticky. The water glasses were dusty and the furniture was not cleaned well. The bathroom shower faucet was faulty and was quite difficult to operate. There was a bench which was covered with stains and smudges.Even the corridors are not cleaned and filled with smudges, stains, and dust.In the bathroom, the wiring of the sink light is exposed and it is a huge safety risk. (See the photos).Walls are too thin and it was too noisy. We could hear loud thumping from the above floor. I guess these are wooden floors and we couldn’t sleep at all.We paid €70+ for a single room and €90+ for a double room. This is outrageous!!!I’m not sure why the reviews say otherwise. To the owners: please, don’t delete the reviews. Please, do take these into account and clean the hotel. People are paying their hard earned money to have a nice stay and it’s quite inhumane to charge for an unhygienic place. ?Update:The owner just called to asking to delete this review. I said no. Let’s see if this review gets deleted.
- Parking, but I understand this is a difficult topic in the centre of a village.
- was difficult to find a car parking space close to hotel

Parking, but I understand this is a difficult topic in the centre of a village.
very friendly staff, large selection for breakfast
was difficult to find a car parking space close to hotel
Brekfast was very good with a nice selection. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
Good breakfast, friendly staff, well located, clean
The staff was very kind and helpful and professional. The location was just what we were looking for, close to a bakery, close enough to walk to the train station, near a big church with a special wall-free labyrinth for all ages.Excellent bathroom. Seems recently renovated with excellent tile work.
The doors for the rooms were old fashioned. I got the sense that the hotel will be renovating rooms one by one and all will be very nice very soon.
Very nice location, friendly staff, room modern and clean
The early self check in system worked very well. We were also given city bus/train tickets for the duration of our stay. The family suite had a second bedroom, this was a nice surprise. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was terrific. Single room had everything needed for a short stay. Location is not all that close to the railway station but close enough for most people to walk comfortably. The neighborhood is not upscale but seemed safe. There was no air conditioning, but an oscillating fan was on hand and made the room comfortable on a hot day.
There was much to like, but also one big problem: THERE WAS NO HOT WATER AVAILABLE IN MY ROOM FOR A DECENT MORNING SHOWER. Aside from that, the bed, though comfortable, squeaked audibly with every move.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. All the things we look for. Breakfast was great.
it was stated that it was necessary to register before 9:00 pm We arrived at 9:15 and they were waiting for us at the reception desk, everything was done quickly and efficiently
in the morning under the window at 8:00 am two women spoke very loudly in Italian and smoked
Great location in the center of Singen. Very friendly staff. I think, it’s been renovated recently and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We received a ticket for public transportation valid during our stay, which was very convenient. The prices are very reasonable and I would stay there definitely again.
very clean and comfortable room, and the staff was super nice
a bit far from the train station on foot
Very friendly staff, good breakfast
Was charged a second time when checking in on the terminal outside (I had already paid through Booking.com). Was promptly refunded though.A desk in the room would have been nice.
The room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom was renovated. A few parking spots available for 10€ extra.
Single room had old furniture and reminded me of a dorm room with an already overused and bent mattress. The door was very thin, so that every noise from outside could be heard. Bathroom lacked hangers for towels and clothes.
Nice staff - comfy bed - hot shower - good breakfast selection
In the morning, someone just unlocked our door without knocking or announcing themselves. We found out it was maintenance, however we didn’t ask for maintenance at 9am and they didn’t even knock before just unlocking an occupied unit.
Go for shopping easily , also to the park.

Excellent breakfast, wide availability of food and drinksVery helpful and attentive staffConvenient location in the centreEasy parking nearby
Unfortunately our room (no.10) was very noisy, you could hear internal hotel noises and annoying vibrationsThe lamps above the bed were uncomfortable as you might bang your head on them (happened a couple of times)
The man at the reception was efficient and helpful.
I gave the hotel the opportunity to respond first but they didn't, so here it goes.I often travel with my 2 year old son. We spend entire days out and come back to hotels late evenings. My main criteria are: on-site parking, a table to eat, a chair, a fridge and double bed.Their listing shown all those facilities. When I arrived at the hotel, it was a pretty disappointing to find that:1. There was no private parking. I arrived at 9pm with a very tired toddler and your hotel staff recommended me to "go straight, take the 3rd exit on the next roundabout, then take the first right, there's a parking. Really? Carrying all luggage, carrying a child at 9pm? All while they mentioned there WAS a private parking available.2. There wasn't even a CHAIR at the desk for me to eat at with my son. Not a single chair? Really?3. There was no fridge at all. Their listing showed there would be one in the room. Also, to the rude, grumpy waitress at breakfast - questions out of nowhere like "Russisch?" are unwelcome. Not all Slavic languages are Russian, have a bit of manners and maybe travel more outside of Singen.
Old setting but everything works and is spotless clean. Good breakfast.
Noisy street, rooms can be very hot, and I need to sleep with some fresh air. Car park offered (10 euro), street parking is free after 7 pm, which was not told.
