    Pros +

    • Nice room overall and clean. The stay would have benefited from a warmer, more empathetic approach from the staff. Extra water was oddly treated as a premium item and kept behind the reception bar. The spa area could benefit from more hangers, shelves, and lounge space. On a very positive note, the dinner restaurant was excellent and the breakfast truly exceptional
    • The breakfast was plentiful and varied. It was a treat to go down to breakfast and be spoiled with all of the offerings.
    • Wonderful stay here at the Nouri Hotel in the Black Forest. Wonderful atmosphere as soon you set foot in the lobby and get welcomed with a delicious glass of wine. The rooms continue the theme of relaxing. Very calming tones and serene views. The beds are comfortable and the pillows can be individualized. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was a modern take on fine dining. Delicious selection on foods and wine with exceptionally friendly staff. We ended the night at the rooftop bar where we enjoyed live music and solid cocktails. The popcorn served at the bar was a new flavor explosion and we had to have the secret of their spices, which the friendly bartender happily shared. Breakfast buffet was variety rich and delicious. Free champagne was definitely a plus. I think a major plus is also the direct access to the Therme which makes for a luxurious stay. Rounding off our stay with a massage at the hotel spa. Definitely recommend a stay here. 10/10

    Cons -

    • Not so friendly and not very empathetic staff at the reception and spa area.
    • I wish I had known before hand that the pools were not part of the hotel and that they are only attached to the hotel and are public. This was partly my fault as I didn't do enough research regarding this. It was still nice though.
    • Everything was perfect

The room was perfectly sized, tastefully modern in its furnishings, and offered a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was of good quality, complemented by a lovely view of the garden. Special recognition goes to Miss Sigrid, whose exceptional service truly stood out.

One aspect that I found inconvenient was the absence of an internal telephone in the room, which made it impossible to contact the reception directly. Additionally, the overall service quality did not meet expectations. Notably, one staff member informed us that laundry service was complimentary for guests; however, upon check-out, we were surprised to find a charge of €400 applied. After a lengthy discussion, we were able to prove our case and have the charge removed, but the situation was unnecessarily stressful. Furthermore, the hotel lacked basic amenities such as a bellboy and concierge service, which affected the overall guest experience.

Room was nice and comfortable. Everything seemed well maintained, and the AC worked well. Bed was very comfortable

Pillows were bad. One pillow was too soft and low, two pillows was too high

We enjoyed our stay thanks to the spacious rooms and the unique addition of a swing inside the room, which made the space feel special and fun. The hotel’s direct access to the thermal baths and the underground parking was very convenient. Breakfast offered a good variety of options.

The breakfast pastries selection was somewhat limited, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the staff seemed slow at times, especially during checkout, resulting in a long queue.

    Architecture

The pool area & so on are very 80’ does not fit to the hotel . Running water after taking shower . And unpleasant situation during dinner . But hotel did everything to fix it - very impressed

Really nice breakfast, amazing sauna and spa area, well-equipped gym, extremely nice and helpful staff

The sauna area is rather small so can get quite busy on weekends, sometimes food wasn't refilled quickly during breakfast

Spacious and nice designed rooms. very friendly and helpful staff in the whole facility. great food at the restaurant and friendly service. extra plus that you can go into the thermalspa classica for the same rate that is just next to the hotel.

there is really nothing to complain

We had a suite with a separate room for our child and lots of space. Loft bar and spa area are very nice. Breakfast was one of the best we ever had.

Food was below expectations for the price and service was painfully slow everywhere. The hotel does not have a pool itself, it’s the next door therme, which is an old fashioned german thermal water treatment facility (with lots of pools, etc so if this is your thing, it can be good)

Wonderful hotel.Peace and quiet.Amazing private SPA area with three saunas, relaxation room and tea corner.Professionally staff.Cleanliness everywhere.I recommend

All staff were great, except front desk, some pretty demotivated and not that honest we think(e.g. told us that eVehicles could park free one day, the other day not - to then charge extra fees even if asked was not nice) - you expect some different way of handling guests equaly. In a way the equality we were treated made us question the fairness of treatments we observed (again, not by all other staff except front desk)

The facilities were great. The food was excellent. The room was very comfortable.Restaurant staff were amazing.

Front desk staff could have been a little better.

The structure of the hotel was nice, but services were very very poor

Nobody speaks english there. There was not even a menu in English. Plus there were no phones in the room so i had to do international calls from my mobile just to talk to the receptionist. Moreover it was very hard to charge my car. The slot was always busy and only one out of two was working

    10AshlyPosted on: 12-27-2024

The room was big and spacious for a family of four and the bathrobes were sized for our family based on the information we provided. The spa was great and our massages were the best. The special cocktails at the bar were delicious.

I can't really say anything bad, it is a high class and luxury hotel and everthing was perfect. We will be back on day for sure.

Breakfast good, room very nice and comfortable. Front desk staff welcoming and helpful. Spa was nice / convenient. Nice rooftop bar for ambience / decor but no view

Restaurant staff not friendly or welcoming--one waitress openly said don’t put them in my area. Ambience more like a cafeteria or breakfast place than nice restaurant, but evening menu was priced as as a 4 or 5 star. We left. Local area is a medical rehabilitation and old age area. We’re in our 50s and we’re the youngest around. Limited choices for local area dining unless you have a car.Photos gave impression it was a luxury retreat. It was more a nice hotel in a medical zone with a spa next door. Bar staff was not welcoming either and drinks were exorbitantly priced. We got in the car and went out for fun. Had booked for our wedding anniversary as we thought it looked romantic--very disappointed

Location is great, on a wonderful park. It has a direct access by a bridge to the Termal center, the breakfast is wonderful, a convenient underground parking, a beautiful spa center.

Great new hotel, opened at the end of 2023 which is why there aren't many reviews. Amazing free breakfast. Rooms were great and spa facilities are in-house as well as at the next door spa. About 30 minutes from Freiburg as well.

    Nothing, great hotel.
