Best Western Plus Poitiers Centre Le Grand Hotel

Location. Love the reading lights in bed. Comfortable bed.

Parking garage was extremely tight for manoeuvring car. Not well lit either.

Good location rooms are ok and well equipped

The staff was a bit… French. I got an eye roll for trying to check in at 2:30 then they had a room ready after she said go take a walk and come back and I asked her to check with housekeeping

Great location for exploring the city, close to restaurants and shops. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of options including delicious croissants and coffee! Very dog friendly and everyone made our girl feel very welcome. I think the hotel must have had a major refit since some of the older reviews were left. Can't fault anything and would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike, all very good

Unexpectedly a lovely hotel parked free next door as Bank holiday - ate across the road perfect.

Downside I lost my favorite jumper - all my fault!

Shower, fauset, breakfast

Breakfast was great. The breakfast manager is a delightful, charming man. The location is convenient to the major sights of the city. We were able to use hotel parking, which is quite close. The room was clean and comfortable. We’d stay there again.

The fire alarm accidentally went off in the middle of the night. The guests congregated in the hotel lobby, which was kind of fun. Perhaps a bit more tourist info at the front desk.

The staff were very helpful and efficient.

The bar looked like an after thought and we did not use it. The restaurant only did breakfast which was only just acceptable. The hotel parking bays in the underground car park were filled with old furniture and rubbish and were unusable. Eventually the receptionist managed to clear a bay for us to use. Very resourceful young lady.

Good location. Clean with comfortable bed & efficient shower.

Overcharged but refunded eventually.

All staff were amazing including the lovely receptionist who gave us a lot of suggestions and the breakfast gentleman who was so kind

Newly refurbished rooms were very comfortable. Staff on reception were exceptional - helpful & friendly

Didn't have the booking right ended up in the disabled suite hotel compensated with one free breakfast but we didn't stay for breakfast so abit pointless

Great central location and our room was newly refurbished with a private roof terrace, bright and airy

Location is excellent; secure parking and great staff; room was good.

Parking which thankfully I had pre booked was perfect. Hotel situated in the centre of Poitier.Clean, friendly and professional staff, perfect for us travelling with our pet dog. Breakfast excellent.Would certainly stay there again.

Toilet in a separate room to the shower and sink . It was rather small.Nothing else to dislike.

Great location, super friendly staff who are ready to help and advise. We got a newly renovated room which was great.

Location and cleanliness

Garage access to the hotel

This hotel is right in the centre of shops and bars and eatery’s .Also the staff team are very welcoming and the room was clean.

Reception staff excellent. Breakfast first class.

No real lounge but not a big problem

We like the room

Check-in was way to slow 90 mins to get to room and park not acceptable

The staff was awesome. Had a problem with the drain when we first arrived but they fixed it immediately. We had a very large room so we could spread out. Bed was very comfortable. The heat worked very well. The breakfast had everything. We were very pleased with the location; near to the main square and lots of selection for dinner.

Parking spaces were a little tight.
