ibis Poitiers Sud

The room was a good size and the shower was hot quickly.

The heater would not turn down enough and it was warm all night.

The lobby and entrance way, as well as the restaurant seem recently renovated. The rooms were definitely not.

Good location from motorway staff friendly

Poor selection on food especially breakfast

The usual IBIS hotel, staffed with friendly and helpful people. Great location and parking - easy for quick in/out of the city. Room comfortable, clean and warm. Small, but plenty of room for a quick overnight trip.

Breakfast was adequate but communal bowls of jam off putting

Individual conserves and sliced bread for toasting nit baguette very difficult

Quiet location. Nice restaurant. Good variety for breakfast. Free parking. Dog friendly

Close to motorway

Room was small but you only sleeping in it

Excellent location for our journey back to Calais. And a massive supermarket across the road allowed us to buy a baguette in the morning.

Good normal Ibis facilities, and easy access to the toll road, great for driving travellers.

Did not eat

Approached from the front but the Car park was badly signposted.Went to rear but turned around as it was unclear. The sign on the wall pointed in the wrong direction

The staff were great 24hour front desk, breakfast more than adequate, room clean and comfortable.

Comfy bed & view of the river.

Room small & cold,no heating at all,no food available & only one restaurant close to hotel that was open

Super friendly helpful night staff. Guy could not have been more helpful.

Room stank of smoke. Bedding felt clammy and grim

Staff were lovely and a perfect location for the night when travelling through France

tight space around the bed and not a very big room

Good location. Friendly staff. Dinner was basic but tasty.

Free parking, clean, great breakfast.

Clean and tidy lovely staff

I just wish there was better lighting in the rooms especially over the bedroom mirror for ladies to put their makeup on I forgot my mirror and had to wait till my husband had finished in the bathroom to use that mirror for my makeup

rooms great for wheelchair user. staff friendly and helpful.

food in evening was awful ?. breakfast was very nice.

Not pleasant.

restaurant manager not pleasant, didn't open on time and kept the customers waiting while the staff finished eating, They had no idea what an Irish coffee was and when I asked for a coffee and a whiskey separate, they had no whiskey at all.The hotel was not full yet they put people in rooms next to each other and in a room above the room we were in, so we were woken by the people above as they walked on the wooden floor in their shoes and had to listen to them using the toilet. All it needed was to space the rooms out and stager the rooms above.

We've stayed here on several occasions & it's always a pleasure.Staff are friendly & helpful, & the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is well worth the price. It's close to Motorways for onward & return journeys, & any shopping. Petrol, too.

Nothing to report.
