    Pros +

    • Perfect for a trip with my 17year old grandson. Single beds, nice size bathroom. Check in was super We hI a problem getting into our room, we phoned Corinne who wad extremely patient and helpful. All ended well, in fact there was a problem with the lock
    • The room was very nice and the location was good for what I needed, considering that most of the time I had to travel out of town. The staff were VERY friendly and extremely helpful regarding checking in and orienting myself in the town.
    • Surprise with the "secret" access route to Poitiers centre. Very convenient. Apartment was spacious and clean. Parking very convenient. Staff were very helpful. Air conditioning worked well.

    Cons -

    • I was glad that we followed reviews and bought along extra pillows. Pool was closed Monday. Not the hotels fault but found the hill up to the City a huge draw back, bad knees.
    • I will argue the area was not the best. There were a few drunken spills (aka vomit) on the streets surrounding the hotel, so you had to be careful where you stepped or rolled your suitcase. A few nights there were some late night, drunk shouting that made me grateful to not be on the ground floor. Also, though the room smelled fine, the was a curious persistent odor in other parts of the hotel. That being said, that's often the case with older hotels. I am grateful the room smelled very nice. Also, I think the hotel is very well protected. After a certain time, the doors are locked so you need to remember what the pass code is to get in. That extra level of security helped a lot.
    • Parking is a little awkward to access from the street.

The size of the room and the location near la Gare is great. A walk of about 1 km up a hill behind the hotel takes to the older part of town with all the cafes and colourful shops. Beautiful French town.

Staff were efficient and very friendly, public areas nice and clean. The apartment itself was lovely, well-equipped and clean, with excellent mixed lighting and plenty of electric sockets. We were on the road side but sound insulation was excellent, so no noise at night. Didn't use the pool or have breakfast but both it looked nice. Parking outside was easy and not too expensive. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful accommodation. Well organised, everything provided so as to cater complete self catering stay.Exceptionally clean throughout. Warm . Very very helpful and welcoming staff on the desk .Good position, close to railway station and v short walk to Poitiers. Quiet area.Loved the way that eco friendly measures are put in place.Wouldn't hesitate to book with this chain in other towns.

    All liked.

The accommodation is very close to the train/bus station and easy to reach. Breakfast was very good!

The room temperature was capped at 21-22 degrees and it would spontaneously go down to 19 sometimes. Moreover, the insulation is not very good, so the room would not reach 21-22 degrees. I was mostly uncomfortable due to the low temperature and had to sleep with an extra blanket. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet!

Close to the center and all stations

Heating was limited and it was cold

    8WallsgrovePosted on: 11-5-2024

Very quiet, nice comfortable beds, great bathroom and good value for money. The breakfast was really good too.

The area between the hotel and station seemed very run down and dirty, unlike the centre which was beautiful - I wish we’d stayed there. It could be we just didn’t take a very nice route when we walked to the centre?

Short walk into centre and old town.Dog friendly Nice and quiet room,Secure parking

Had to take your rubbish down to the car park and put it in the appropriate bins

    Pleasant

I did not like the fact that the room did not have a heating system. During my stay for about a week, I was very cold in the room. The air conditioner in the room did not have warm air, I talked to the reception staff and they did not give me a solution. This left a lot to be desired.I'm sorry.

    Location and value

3 times during the booking with booking.com and direct with the hotel I requested twin beds. We were given a double and because the hotel has no staff in the evening when we arrived there was nothing I could do about it. The pillows are the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on.

    8ThehappycyclistsPosted on: 9-27-2024

Close to the old city, pleasant garden (backside of building) , funny backdoor exit/entry, safe parking.

Traffic noise (room on frontside), also at night.

    7KarinePosted on: 9-19-2024

Close to the train station, room was spacious and comfortable and clean. There's a shortcut to the city centre (walkable up a hill within a 10min walk)

The surrounding area was quiet, with few eateries or activities to do for the night for a solo traveler. But it was very near the train station so no complaints!

    8AlexandraPosted on: 9-17-2024

Location perfect for the city centre. Basic rooms are at a reasonable price. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

    9SharonPosted on: 9-15-2024

Very clean, small but nice balcony and good cooking facilities for a one night stay. On site locked parking which was great. A few minutes walk into the centre

    9ErziePosted on: 9-13-2024

the rooms are quite big and even has a small kitchen. they're very comfortable and clean.

    6RobertPosted on: 9-4-2024

Hannah at reception was excellent with communication and helpful advice about the town.

Needed Some sugar and coffee for the first night stay…especially as shops were steep walk uphill.Rather steep walk up hill to town may be difficult for some people.

    7LauraPosted on: 8-27-2024

Close to city center, good option to park the car in the inner garage for 9eur, good for a short stay.

Breakfast was a bit limited in choice for the price paid
