    Pros +

    • It was clean and comfortable; the staff were friendly and efficient and its location is very close to the train station.
    • Typical old style French building with lots of character and high ceilings. The location was right at the start of the Christmas Market right in the middle of everything however really quiet. Reception staff really lovely and friendly. Our room was sizable with 2 big window and a separate bathroom and toilet. The room was spotlessly clean.
    • Good central position, parking nearby.Very quiet room.

    Cons -

    • We didn’t have hot water in our room and the staff were alerted to that, but it wasn’t fixed in our two-day stay.
    • The bathroom and toilet were very dated in their style and quite tired, this didn't bother us too much but some people prefer the more modern look but I will add that both the toilet and bathroom were spotless so much so you could literally see your face in the tiles. There is no parking however we parked in nearby Perret car park a 5 minute walk away.
    • It was a cold evening when we arrived. There was no heat in the lobby and the next morning the breakfast room was very very cold. This problem was resolved by the time we left. Also for the two days of my stay there were no lights in the hallway of the second floor rooms. In the evening I had to use the light from my cellphone to find the key hole and open the door to my room.

It was convenient, the staff was welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast excellent.

    The breakfast was rather basic.

Great location. Comfortable beds, helpful staff.

Some of the decor is a bit dated, but gave it character.

Good location, nice staffOld hotel Bed good

Bathroom very outdated... Yellow stains in bath, shower in bath, toilet not clean (from leaking water) TV is very very small

The location is excellent. Very large rooms, old style hotel with high volume rooms and large windows. Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple but very tasty breakfast. Easy access to the internet. Reception staffed 24h.

The carpet on the floor had some marks that looked like burns or heavy stains. The electrical installation is antique, but otherwise fully functional. The false fire alarm at 6:30 am took 5 minutes to clear, and only after most of the guests evacuated.

The location was perfect and staff gave advance and clear information about parking , safely and nearby. The staff were all very professional and helpful.

The hotel is a lovely building but it could with some refurbishment/ modernisation. It has some lovely features which could do with nvestment.

We liked, the room and the breakfast

The common areas in the landing and stairs are a bit round down

    7StefanyPosted on: 8-18-2025

    Historic

Bathroom had no window so all the smell went back into the room. The balcony could not be open. The furniture was outdated

Decent hotel that benefits being in a very central location in Amiens. Breakfast was pretty good. Looking for a one night in Amiens then this hotel is pretty good, and good value. Friendly receptionists.

Not sure if I could stay for long at the hotel. The rooms were a little small and a little outdated. The actual beds super average and not overly comfortable.

Lovely big room in the heart of the city

No air con, probably not usually a problem, but it was quite warm during my stay.
