Holiday Inn Express Amiens By IHG

Clean andfriendly

Excellent front desk reception staff. Breakfast very good value. Location excellent. Parking accessible and not expensive in relation to where we come from.

Cannot think of anything

Very convenient location. Kind receptionists.

There was no fridge. Also there was no place to put the luggage since it was a very small room. Regarding cleanliness, I stayed for 6 nights and my bedsheets were not changed at all, even though I specifically asked for it. Also they kept proving me with one big towel, and not a smaller hand/hair towel. The one day I asked for a small towel they gave me a bath mat instead! Outrageous! Also, no bathroom amenities apart from soap.

Located right next to the station the hotel is easy to find. It has standard basic rooms, enough if you're staying for a couple of days and mostly plan to come to the hotel only to sleep.

The breakfast was standard but often the items like croissants or crepes would be gone quickly and not refilled. The coffee machine in the room didn't work and the heater made loud noise that disturbed me during the night.

Location, staff helpfulness, cleanliness

Outstanding location next to the train station, buses and (when we were there) the start of the huge Christmas market. Great staff, very obliging and multilingual. The amenities are a little tired but comfy. Breakfast was good. Heartily recommend Tower's Bar just over the road as well, for an excellent selection of beers and good food.

Hardly a dislike but the coffee machine in the room was clunky and we only got two pods a day. No milk. However, reception were very obliging and helpful.

The location. Next to the train station and walking distance to the centre of the city. The room was ok and the bathroom was nice. The staff was polite and respectful. The Greek yogurt at breakfast was tasty.

The shower was very disappointing, they use an ECO system that saves water but it’s terrible, and there was an issue with the temperature. The bathroom doesn’t have a ventilation system. The pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was not very varied. The coffee options were not so great (avoid cappuccino, it tasted very milky). The hotel looked very outdated.

Excellent location, parking spaces at decent price. Comfortable beds and very good breakfast. The bathroom was large and clean.

The room was quite small with very little room to put the luggage. The special handle installed to spare water makes it very hard to take a shower.

Staff are always so friendly , it’s perfectly placed and easy parking

There were issues with the hot water which they were working on . It said max 40 degrees but it didn’t get anywhere near that temperature in the shower . Have stayed here before with no issues so I’m sure it’s just a temporary thing whilst they are working on it.

The breakfast was ok but the cutlery was filthy, it was this way every day.

clean cutlery

Breakfast was good & bed was comfy

Shower was really unpleasant. It took a very long time to heat up and because it sprayed the water like a mist it cooled down before it gpt to you. Also the sink drained very slowly

Very comfortable beds, clean room, great breakfast, helpful staff, central, close to everything, parking below and close to The Somme.

Great room: silent, functional, nicely decorated. The bathroom is also great. The location is convenient. Breakfast is really good, the buffet offers a wide variety of food.

There was no socket near one of the two beds in the twin room. Ventilation in the bathroom could work better — the bathroom was full of steam after shower. The access from the parking to the hotel is difficult to find — there could be signs in the parking lot.

Location was great. Staff was friendly! Very good value. It also has a fitness room.

The room was very small. We had a rental car and there is no area to park while unloading luggage. We were lucky to get a spot on the street outside the hotel.

The parking lot is not lit on weekends at all. It did not feel safe to leave the car there or walk through it to the hotel.

Location excellent

The hotel The coffee machine in the room. Would have preferred kettle and sachets of tea and coffee

Clean pleasant room, good breakfast, pleasant staff.

Room compact, but probably ok reflecting the price.

Very handy location in the city centre. Car park underneath the hotel was one of the best city centre car parks I’ve been to. Very clean with wide bays. €9 for 24hrs. Room was nicely appointed if a little on the tight size. Eva on reception was great. Good breakfast even if the plates were rather small.

It was too hot.

Good breakfast, good location, shops all round, paid parking secure €9 for the night next door, staff friendly and polite

Shower needs replacing

Location

Breakfast. Only scrambled egg and two remaining chicken sausages. The usual continental offerings.
