    Pros +

    • Spacious, comfortable room in very good condition. Excellent central location across the road from the cathedral. Good breakfast served and early service available from 6.30am. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception.
    • Helpful staff- also very friendly, a real assetLocation
    • Very cute with a lot of room. It fit our family well. Even had a washer and dryer.

    Cons -

    • Only a minor comment and more of a personal preference really but the bedroom was a little too warm for my taste during the night with the heating set to minimum.
    • Nothing i didn't like but the bread at breakfast wasn't as good as usual
    • Not something I hated, but the stuffed dogs heads were just strange. Hard to explain, but you’ll understand if you see them

Good sized and comfortable rooms, good breakfast and great location

Perfect location , right in the centre, breakfast was really good and the Staff were all super nice and helpful

It was a shame that the restaurant had only 3 items each ( for starter, main and dessert) on their menu. But perhaps it was just for the festive times. A bit more choice would have been nice

I liked that when I checked in I got a free upgrade to my room and that overlooked the cathedral. The room facilities were good and the location was superb. WiFi was also really good. I managed to get cheap parking on the street next to the hotel so that was handy. It cost me €11.40 for 24 hours and I didn’t move my car once. Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choice. The Chablis wine was also lovely! Sofia was extremely accommodating throughout my stay and even helped me with onward bookings at other Mercure hotels in France.

At night there was no atmosphere. The place always seemed dead. I wanted to lounge around with my laptop during the day but it didn’t feel like the place to be doing that. It wasn’t too homely in that respect so I just worked from my room.

Location was excellent could walk from train station and to attractions. The staff at this hotel were exceptional. So accomodating. We ate at the restaurant each night and the food was fabulous.

Large and clean room. 1 minute walk from the Cathedral.

Great location. Breakfast lovely. Staff are super polite and helpful.

Parking is difficult. But that is due to location. Worth the pain.

    7ChrisPosted on: 10-3-2025

Fantastic location. Near Cathedral and many restaurants. Parking convenient

    10LulesaPosted on: 9-29-2025

The accommodation was in an excellent location, the staff were very friendly, everything was very clean. We also received complimentary drinks and sweet in the room, which was a very cute touch. The breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Location! Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Dinner in restaurant was very good and easy to get in without reservations.

Bathtub drain mechanism was broken and water bottle in mini fridge was chipped.

    Location and comfy beds

Not really 4 star hotel, staff were nice but very limited numbers of staff

    9SusanPosted on: 9-26-2025

Room very clean and modernised. Location excellent for walking just across the road to the cathederal and a number of small restaurants, breakfast was the most comprehensive spread I have found in any continental hotel. Almost nothing to dislike, and excellent stop of when going over on eurotunnel and wanting to break the journey south after a short drive in France. (Not the most direct stop but well worth the short detour). Nice place for a few days.

The hotel has no private parking. Parking is possible on surrounding roads or a very local underground car park, but it is not the most secure place for parking if you are in the habit of leaving anything in your car although the area is very gentile.

Lovely spacious room. Really good choice for breakfast. Great location.

Nothing. We have stayed there before on a couple of occasions.

    8KatherinePosted on: 9-19-2025

Location was brilliant. Very close to the beautiful Cathedral and very near the river where there are a variety of restaurants and bars.

Our room was on 1st floor- a privilege room. There was a lot of traffic noise and this disturbed our sleep.

    10KatherinePosted on: 9-19-2025

Central location. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a balcony with excellent views of the beautiful Cathedral. The staff were excellent.

No private parking.. Overnight parking in a secure nearby car park was expensive.

    8AnnaPosted on: 9-16-2025

    pleasant

I had asked in advance for gluten free bread for breakfast - this was produced after a first refusal.

    9MartinPosted on: 9-10-2025

Location of the hotel is excellent although walking back at night my wife felt uneasy at groups of youths hanging around and rough sleepers outside the hotel

Housekeeping was not up to standard, toilet was not cleaned and soap/shampoo had ran out and not been replenished

    8MarkPosted on: 8-27-2025

Room had a good view although was a bit small for the price paid. Cathedral view was nice although a bit underwhelming from Level 1. Location is excellent in the centre of Amiens. Storing bikes was no issue. Breakfast was fine. Walk to the quay for dinner was close by.

Aircon didn't prove to be effective despite settings. Price was a bit steep for what we got.
