    Pros +

    • Really enjoyed being right next to the cathedral. Tons of shops & restaurants in easy walking distance. Floating gardens also an easy walk. Staff were proficient English speakers and were very friendly.
    • Central location and exceptional staff
    • The room, the staff and the location is awasome.

    Cons -

    • An elevator would have been beneficial. Our room was a bit small, but we didn¿t spend a lot of time there, so it wasn¿t a problem. A little cold at night.
    • Bad decoration, low quality furniture and bedding
    • The signs are awful. For heavens sake, put up a better lit sign and put something by the other second sign that says, this is not the hotel, turn around and walk 50m to the real entrance. We were lost and so very frustrated. Once in, it was super. Imo, you should make it easy for lost tired Travellers to find you. It is definitely not easy

Such a unique and special view of the cathedral

    Location is excellent

I booked 4 rooms, Nikki‘s room did not have any hot water on the first or second day. Pam‘s room was cold.My room had no hot water on the Sunday so I was unable to take a shower. Rose said her room was just about adequate. When I mention this to the staff, they said you have to write a complaint not prepared to give any discount for the inconvenience.

Great hotel centrally located with a very friendly manager and team. Carlos on reception is a great guy who will look after you well.

It was arty and quirky. Lovely breakfast. Impeccable location.

The room would be much improved by changing the light bulbs. They are overly bright and hurt the eyes. Two more pillows would be helpful to read in bed.

We had a fantastic view of the cathedral; it was extremely close to the hotel. The hotel was beautifully furnished and an excellent location - near to everything.

    We liked it all.

Excellent location, nice historic building. Very nice breakfast.

The automatic blind in our room didn't work - hence it was all but impossible to sleep as the external lighting came straight into our room, not to mention that we had no privacy due to the only other window covering being the sheer curtains. Also there was a lack of amenities - no tissues, bed linen frayed, one tiny cake of soap for both hand washing and the shower, 2 pillows with no extras or extra blanket. Generally the amenities could be improved for a better experience. However, very centrally located hotel.

Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was good and very affordable. The location was amazing, right next to the cathedral. Just an FYI: No lift and you needed to roll your luggage a bit. Parking is possible not too far. The property is fun and quirky with a lot of enjoyable art pieces in the common areas.

They had grey sheets. I prefer white in a hotel setting. It just seems cleaner. But everything was certainly clean.

Location is really good being close to cathedral and old town. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Didn't like being in the annexe which is separate to the hotel. Room was not very warm and heating not controllable

Housed in a lovely old building, this is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. It is right by the huge cathedral in the centre of Amiens close to many restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful with lots of hot water.

It was a little hard to find, being in a pedestrian zone. We did a lap of the cathedral before finding somewhere to park and walked in. There is no lift in the hotel and the stairs are old, narrow and wonky. We were on the third floor, and whilst it was not a problem for us we could see it being an issue for some visitors.

This property is in a great spot right by the cathedral, restaurants and shops. Great continental breakfast, comfortable beds, good shower rooms. Old property with plenty of character with quirky modern decor.

    More pillows would be good.

Good location. All staff were absolutely lovely.Good choice of food at breakfast.

Very small, dark room. En-suite was the other side of a thin wall. No windows in ensuite. Water was only just warm for a bath. Decor in the room was dark and very DIY. View over “courtyard” wasn’t great and the curtain over the window to the balcony didn’t fit properly. There wasn’t a headboard to the bed, so sitting up meant knocking your head on the mirror above the bed. Not great. Everything was a bit basic and tired.

the initial check in was positive. We were clear we didn't want breakfast, The gave us a good overview of what we could visit and see like the floating gardens and amazing light show at the Cathedral at the end of the road. The location was amazing.

we clearly articulated that we didn't want breakfast as I have protein shakes and my husband has fruit. we were unclear that we needed to request cleaning as it was on a small sign written in French. we took own rubbish over after two days. There was no air-conditioner and fridge, This was an issue for my husbands medication. The fan was adequate. The real issue occurred on departure after the worst stay in eight weeks in Europe. We had to leave at 8am to catch a train. The attendant charged us for breakfast which we refused as we didn't have it. We had to wait until 8.30am where the manager amended this. There was some confusion over whether we had paid. we were in a rush and gave them a second credit card if there were issues. Within an hour they took the payment ( as they should have) but added the breakfasts which amounted to $160 Australian despite this being discussed and agreed that we didn't have it. After six phone calls and multiple emails they did not refund the money - it was not incompetence but theft. Incredibly unimpressed with ths sub standard and dodgy establishment.

Wonderful classic little French hotel superbly located in the heart of Amiens. Very quiet rooms (in the annexe). Great breakfast. Lovely staff.

Excellent location. Comfy bed. Friendly welcome.

Room 5 in the attic was a bit tired and just ok for an overnight stay. Would be very hot in the height of summer.

Fabulous location near Cathedral where we saw the magnificent light show. Very nice staff, clean and nice view from room

We had a lovely room (loved the quirky touches!) with balcony with view of the cathedral. Perfect location, 100 yards from the cathedral & close to the “old” quarter. Had a lovely meal at Le Quai, a recommendation from the hotel. Excellent breakfast & made to feel very welcome.
