    • This was the best resort me and my friends have ever been too (and my friends stay at really nice places more often). We already liked the pictures but reality is even better. Can't fault this place. I'd give it a 12/10 if it were possible. It's not a big resort so even though it was fully booked, it never felt busy. The staff were very attentive and friendly - from the ladies at the front desk, to the waiting staff, massage ladies, everyone! The staff at the front desk deserves an extra shoutout for arranging our departure and always offering information very transparently. Give these ladies a raise! It's decorated beautifully, the greenery all around the place is amazing and the food and cocktails were delicious. The rooms are gorgeous, I already loved the family room, however, we switched to the villa with a private pool for the last 2 nights and wow! We would move in in a heartbeat. I love this place and would definitely come again!
    • Beautiful bungalows in gorgeous location on the beach, great restaurant and very friendly staff. We loved it, can’t wait to go back.
    • We spent four nights at this hotel and while some aspects were enjoyable, others were quite disappointing, especially the constant noise from children. The overall atmosphere felt more like a daycare than a hotel meant for relaxation. Kids were running, screaming and crying all day long.Even in the so-called adults-only pool, we encountered a family with children who ignored the rule. When we pointed it out, they took it badly, as if we were the ones at fault. Given that families already have access to the entire property (and another pool), the least they could do is respect this one dedicated space. The staff should also be more proactive in enforcing the rule.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway as a couple, this is definitely not the right place.I’ve never been particularly drawn to adults-only hotels, but after this experience, I now understand why the concept appeals to so many people and I would seriously consider it for future trips.Another downside was the location of our bungalow (V3), which was right on the main path leading to the restaurant and reception. Zero privacy! Everyone walked past, saw us sitting on the terrace and greeted us like in a campsite. For the price we paid, this was quite disappointing, if it were a 1,000 THB-per-night bungalow, it would be understandable, but at this rate, we expected much better. On the plus side, the room was clean and well-equipped (fridge, safe, slippers, bathrobes…), but a few details were frustrating: poorly placed light switches that forced us to walk around the bed in the dark, a toilet spray with no water pressure, and no hot water on the first night. The food was also disappointing, clearly adapted to Western tastes and lacking authentic flavors. However, the breakfast was quite varied. That being said, Koh Libong is an amazing island, far from mass tourism, offering a truly authentic and peaceful experience.

    Cons -

    • Leaving
    • It’s beyond the hotel responsability, but there’s a herd of stray dogs on the island. They fight every night and get hurt, very noisy at midnight and heart breaking if you are a dog lover.
    • There is almost nothing on Koh Libong except this resort.

Calm and green place. Nice beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

There is almost nothing on Koh Libong except this resort.

The absolute perfect holidays. We LOVED staying here, I have never felt more relaxed. Particularly loved the attention to detail in the design of the rooms, the fact that it's a fairly small hotel, the staff, the beauty of the island (not touristic at all). 10/10. Cannot recommend more.

Nothing. I'd just thing it would be cool if the hotel would organise some activities that you can join with others? Like an island tour.

It’s a wonderful resort! The staff was very helpful and attentive, and the island is a smell gem with plenty of deserted beach stretches, jungle and a few local villages.

We stayed at the Family Luxury House, which was very nice. However, there was a bit of noise in the morning as it is located above the resort’s motorbike shed and close to the entrance.

    10MichałPosted on: 2-15-2025

It was enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and have privacy. It was good value for money.

Total price in the restaurant doesn’t include taxes so you may be misled by that.

Had a fantastic albeit short (4 nights) stay at Andalay. We felt very welcomed from the get go - hotel's personel was great. Very attentive & helpful. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed at the Family Botanical House (upper floor) and loved it. Rooms are large, comfy, well equiped and bear no sign of wear. The restaurant serves really good Thai & international food (both for breakfast and a la carte). While it is pricier than in offsite restaurants, the quality is there.Be sure to stroll around the island too - we really liked it as well.A must repeat!

Just one thing - the coffee could be much better

A really beutiful place, with the sweetest and best staff we have ever met! Always smiling and so thoughtful and did their job perfect from the second we arrived till the second we left ❤️ A true paradise!

It's not much to dislike at this place, but a bit crowded with children in both pools, which made it a bit noisy sometimes.

    10ClarePosted on: 2-3-2025

We loved our days at Andalay Beach Resort. The room was large and comfortable with a big balcony and plenty of seating. We had welcome fruit on arrival. Beach towels, snorkeling equipment and kayaks were supplied free and there were plenty of sun loungers around the resort, the pools and the beach. Food was good with a varied choice and the breakfast lovely. So much mango!! ?? The Emerald Cave on Koh Mook is definitely worth a look and we also had a tour round Libong. As so many other reviews say - the employees make this place. They are super friendly and relaxed but at the same time professional. You feel you're in safe hands. A memorable experience.

Wonderful resort! Everything excellent. Staff exceeded our expectations. Breakfast and dinner service - very good. The room was of generous size and wonderfully decorated. Also loved our balcony, on the second floor. The premises hosts two pools and the surroundings are very lush and green.Free bicycle rental.

The use of plastic disposals. Fx forks, straws.I would also like to suggest making one pool area into an adult only zone. During our stay there were a lot of children and sometimes it was a bit hard to relax.

    9ChristinePosted on: 1-22-2025

The atmosphere is fantastic. Green everywhere, two pools, all the rooms feel private. We stayed at a family room which was spacious and clean. The staff is incredibly friendly. You have bikes and kayaks available for free. You can rent a tuktuk to drive yourself at a good price. Beach is beautiful.

Its really not a bad thing but portion sizes were big in the restaurant. Would be great with smaller sizes so you could order a few things.

    8NicolaPosted on: 1-21-2025

The staff at this resort were some of the best we have ever encountered - they couldnt do enough for you. We had an issue and it was resolved so quickly and they went over and above. Nee and her staff were amazing! The breakfast had a very big choice and was delicious and you could sit outside by the beach - lovely view. The rooms were spacious and bathroom too. We did a tour around the island with a tiktuk driver and we saw how beautiful the island is - the staff organised this and our return to the ferry.

Libong is a small island and not much to do outside the resort - not a dislike - more a comment.

    10LindaPosted on: 1-17-2025

We loved our stay at Andalay. The resort is beautiful and the staff ist top tier. The nicest people you can imagine. Our room was very nice too.

We would have loved to see more vegetarian/vegan options at the breakfast buffet. There were some days when they had grilled vegetables but on other days, all warm options except the omelette had meat.

    10BjörnPosted on: 1-11-2025

Super friendly staffClean roomsSuperb foodNice poolsInteresting beach with a lot of crabs, shells, stones

Resort is just perfect. Just sad to see how people treat nature around the corner outside the resort. NO fold of the resort.

    10JessicaPosted on: 1-9-2025

The property is stunning, the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, the sunsets we got the Teo nights we were there were breathtaking. The food in the restaurant is delicious!!! Highly recommend trying the Yum Prawn Lemongrass - wow! and the chicken satay and red curry! But the absolute highlight of this property is the staff. Everyone was so kind and they truly go out of their way to make sure you have an exceptional stay. It was my birthday and they went above and beyond! A special shout-out to our lovely Tak at the front desk!

Sometimes it can be tricky to find lounge chairs at the pool or beach - they fill up quickly. also, we were really craving coconuts and unfortunately they didn’t have any the two days we were there. I also think for a resort, breakfast hours could be pushed until 11am instead of 10am since it’s nice to really sleep in at these kind of resorts.
