Turtle Paradise

Breakfast was provided. No menu just brought food to your table. Dinner was not included but you could order it from a menu and honestly was some of the best food we had all trip.

Comfy, friendly, helpful. Good breakfast. The parking area was large.

Fantastic helpful hosts. Helped to rub aloe Vera over my burnt bits? gorgeous food. Lots of advice given on what to do, turtles etc, where to swim. Lifts onto tangalle and transfers sorted for us. Lovely leaving gift on last day. Would definitely go again.

Outstanding! Great staff, facilities and location, really close to the Rekawa Turtle Beach. We spent one night here and would have easily spent more time. Relaxing and friendly environment.Totally recommended!

The turtle conservation area was close, the room was big and there was a hot water in the shower. Breakfast was included in our stay and was fine, not very big but fine. The host was friendly and allow us to check out 2 hours later.Amazing location if you want to visit the turtle conservation area!

the room privacy - basically if you have curtains open to get some light into the room anyone who is walking outside can see you - we paid for the balcony which was basically the outside area, that everyone has access to, so i think it was not fair deal as you are paying additional money for having a balconyyou cannot really swim in the ocean at the beach nearby, so it's nice place to stay for a night or two to observe turtles

Lovely place. Staff are really friendly and helpful.There are 3 options for wifi, you just have to pick the right one for where you are located and you should get a good signal.

The hotel is nice and really close to the turtle centre. Possibility to rent a scooter. You can reach Netolpitiya in 10 minutes, Tangalle in 20.

The property was super close to the Turtle Conservation Centre which was in our list of things we wanted to do.The staff were friendly and helpful and made us a really tasty breakfast! Would definitely stay again ☺️

Near the beach and the evening turtle tours. Room was well equipped with good WiFi, hot shower, and air conditioning.

It is a countryside small resort, where locals have nice cosy hotels because of the turtle beach attraction. In the daytime you feel like beeing alone in the hole massive beach. Sad that the waves are too big to swim, however the sound of the ocean lets you meditate with the nature.The hotel is simple and coay at its best! Some facilities could be improved however it doesn’t not irritate. Staff very friendly, food delicious and not expensive.

Lovely stay very close to the beautiful beach. Really lovely hosts and comfortable and relaxing room with a beautiful view. The best thing is you get the whole beach to yourself early in the morning… it’s not for swimming but the waves are awesome.

Though I did appreciate disconnecting for a bit, as a solo introvert it was difficult not having WiFi connection in the room.

Great hotel. Family run. Great food. Clean rooms. Very close to the sea. We are delighted with this place and the people we met here. We will try to come back here

Very nice garden and surroundings. It is great we could pay by card. The room was clean and nicely organised with tea and coffee and good air con and a fan.

The nearest beach is dangerous so you need to search for a safer place especially for the kids. There was also some breakfast problem during our stay and it was difficult to reach the conclusion in English.

The room is nice and clean. There is hot water and ac. The location is great next to the Rekawa beach and not too far away from Tangalle by tuktuk. The staff does not speak much English but somehow it works. We could also do laundry. Fresh fruit platter every morning. The restaurant serves fresh and good food.

We go two times breakfast with old grilled toast bread and butter and had to request an omelet for an additional fee. The wifi is not powerful enough for the number of guests and strong enough to reach all the rooms.

Nothing was as described in room facilities. There wasn’t even a bed sheet. No kettle, cups or glasses. Could not use the lethal shower since the shower head was positioned over the live electric plug that powered the water heater. Bathroom door was broken. Pillows were filthy. Hairdryer was a 2 pin, no adapter for the only 3 pin plug in the room. Breakfast was a meager serving of fruit, coconut and banana pancake. No toast, egg , butter or jam . Manageress was rude and unhelpful. Even offered to bribe us not to leave a bad review with 1,500 rupees. Not even enough to buy 4 of us a cup of tea. So sorry we took our family members with us there after we had been in 3 previous places on our 4 day trip which were all excellent and cheaper.

If you look beyond the photos the accommodation was fine but it certainly isn’t as good as the photos and description on the website. The lake view is only visible from the top 2 floors of 4 and our room was on the 2nd floor. We were originally given a ground floor room, which I would not recommend. There was no bath available, only a shower, the pump in the shower did not work so, although we did have hot water, it was not good water pressure. The kettle did not work but it was swiftly replaced and in fairness we did not mention any problem with the shower. Having said all of the above:It was good value for money, very clean and comfortable with a generous balcony and seating area. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was good. The area is very quiet and not far from the beach. For us it was just a one night stay with an early departure so we did not have the opportunity to visit the beach and the surrounding area.

We had an amazing stay at Turtle Paradise! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience - they even helped arrange medical assistance when I needed it. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed the lagoon boat trip, massage, and turtle watching. They even taught us how to drive a tuk-tuk! Highly recommend!
