    Pros +

    • Beautiful historic manor from the 1200’s with modern amenities. Great location walking 5 minutes from center of Amboise.
    • Its a quaint 9 room B&B. Breakfast was typically French - not a memorable meal. Location was great. Room was spacious and quite comfortable. Bathroom was modern. Parking was convenient and easy to access. Had an elevator, which was nice for luggage. Two out of three of the employees at the front desk were fabulous. One woman was professional but unwilling to go out of her way. The other two were willing to do anything - above and beyond!
    • Great location. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Great onsite parking. Great breakfast. All round great stay.

    Cons -

    • The photo is a little misleading. That is a photo from the grounds back towards the entrance. I thought it would be at the end of a long driveway.
    • bathroom was odd with the camode and sink completely across the room.
    • Can’t think of anything.

Comfortable room in an old manor in the heart of Amboise, walking distance to the Chateau d’ Amboise and Leonardo’s Chateau. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a food truck called the table which serves delicious small plates. Highly recommend.

The photo is a little misleading. That is a photo from the grounds back towards the entrance. I thought it would be at the end of a long driveway.

Very historic property. loved the shutters on the windows and the creaky floors. Breakfast was excellent

bathroom was odd with the camode and sink completely across the room.

This is a wonderful property. The outdoor space is wonderful. My two chihuahuas enjoyed their freedom and I could sit under a shady tree while they romped. The manager, Gerard (English version) was amazing. So accommodating to our needs. Dinner was truly wonderful so be sure to book the outdoor experience at least one night. We had friends meet us for a second dinner and enjoyed 2 1/2 hours of tranquil surroundings and again, excellent, creative cuisine. Breakfast is very good. We got to know Charlotte during this time, who is also wonderful. The room itself is large and bed very comfortable. If you have a problem with century’s old wood floors, this could be an issue. But we were in room #4 and while ours were rickety, we couldn’t hear anyone else. We’ll be back one day. We wished we were here longer, both at the hotel and Amboise!

    Can’t think of anything.

The breakfast was lovely. The bar was also very nice. We played cards in the room adjacent to the bar which also had other games which was nice. The location was really great, close to everything. The room had four twin beds with two bathrooms.

It would have been nice if the second bathroom had a toilet. Also, the bar seemed to close early. I forget what time.

It is a beautiful and comfortable manor close to the Chateaus, river shopping and restaurants. Loved the outdoor area for a glass of wine. Would definitely stay there again on a return trip.

Excellent staff, lovely room, convenient location

Beautiful place, full of history and very well located.

To be honest, we would have expected a substantially better breakfast (extremely basic, not even an IBIS/Mercure standard), especially for the price charged.

The uniqueness of the building and rooms. The ambience. The staff. The EV charge point.

Property is in a beautiful historical house so well located to the center of village. It is within a five minute walk of everything you need but completely quiet with beautiful garden and pool. The staff was excellent--so welcoming and very helpful and made wonderful dinner reservations for us.

The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. I thought it was overpriced for what it was and the coffee was not great.

Greeted by lovely staff. Rooms were delightfully decorated. Surroundings were homelike. Easy to access centre of Amboise. Breakfast was perfect. Beds were super comfy, crisp and luxurious sheets, lovely bathtub, and the perfect room temperature. Easy and safe parking. Quiet.

Super nice hotel in Amboise! Very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms in an old house that reminds of the chateaux in the regions. Delicious breakfast and very helpful staff. Parking available inside the gardens. Walking distance to city center and the Chateau d'Amboise.

The building and the grounds were very pretty. The staff was very nice.

The room was quite large, but the toilet was separate - oddly right across from the entry door in a closet-like space. The sink and tub were on the opposite side of the room - strange layout. The drapery around the bed felt a little overdone.

The location is excellent. The room is majestic. very indulgent. The shower is large and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. And the service is just great. The staff took care of everything. And they did it all the time with a smile. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

The reception/concierge people were very friendly, helpful, informative. The Manoir is very well preserved. Breakfast room is sunny and inviting. Lots of lighting in Room 7 and space for suitcases, etc.

We would have liked to have had a walk in shower.

We had an amazing stay at the Manoir Saint Thomas. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and we spent some time outside in the garden as well as in the downstairs study. Having parking included was a nice touch as well. The location is great and we had some of the best meals of our trip in restaurants in Amboise, all within walking distance of the hotel. Would absolutely return.

Staff were fabulous and accommodating. Rooms were outstanding and clean! Love the amenities. Breakfast was perfect and affordable. The living room and lounge area with the fire was a really nice treat too.
