Lots of steps inside and outI thought I had booked a room with terrace but didn't get one.

While what was served for breakfast was the breakfast was very good, the choice of items was a bit noarrow.

Comfortable bed, good location for visiting Amboise. Aircon in room was welcome in hot weather, could not hear any road noise at all with windows closed.

When restaurant is busy there was no informal seating area for guests to have a drink if not dining. Noise could be heard from adjoining rooms so better sound insulation would be good.

Many steps from carpark to reception.The restaurant had no choice at all.we booked because of there being a restaurant disappointing to find a set menu with no choice within it.

Quiet place with a room over looking the Loire Valley. Short drive to town.

The restaurant for breakfast and dinner wasn't open. The internal stairwell needs freshening up.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, the rooms and grounds were clean and tidy and a very convenient location to Amboise centre and other local chateaux. The restaurant is superb fantastic food and service we even asked about a meal we had eaten there previously and on the second night they put it on the menu for us , excellent, we could not have asked for more, we would recommend this hotel to anyone, thank you.

This hotel is a small road hotel, convenient for its easy access from the main road, its ok for a night or two but wouldnt book it for more than that.

Very hospitable staff & dog friendly- god for a stop over. Restaurant provides great food & breakfast.

Room a little dated but OK. Unable to check in until 6pm.

Restaurant was not open so had to travel into town to eat in evening.

Very easy to find - just off the highway but set back so it didn't feel close to traffic. The room was pleasant enough but the big plus for this place was the exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to serve us. There is a limited menu but the food and wine were excellent. We stayed for two nights and would have struggled to choose dinner for a third night.The hotel is well placed for exploring nearby chateaux and there is a good winery a couple of miles from the hotel.

The shower was a step into the bath kind - not ideal if you are a little unsteady. I would take a non-slip bath mat next time I stay here.

A lovely small hotel, nicely decorated rooms and good food in the restaurant. Owners and staff were very friendly and efficient.

We booked an additional night but unfortunately were not made aware that the restaurant was already full due to Bastille celebrations.

Easy to find. Nice people. Good food/wine at fair prices. Clean room with A/C that worked. Large car park. English spoken. Perfect for one night stay. Would happily book again.

No complaints of significance. Colour scheme of rooms a bit garish, perhaps. Bathroom needed a upgrade (cracked WHB) but was clean and functional. Located on main road but noise didn't bother us particularly.
