The charging station for the car is not applicable for international credit cars, which made it impossible for us to charge when needed...

The location is excellent. You can walk to all the sites including the farmers market next to the river. We paid for parking on the property, but didn’t have to move our car during our 3 night stay.

This is a lovely modern hotel in a very old building. We had a large, quiet, comfortable room. The breakfast was outstanding with so much choice. The location is just a short walk to many restaurants near by. There is a fenced parking lot which was helpful for our rental car. The staff were extremely helpful.

The price was little high but after travelling for two weeks we appreciated the benefits of a new accommodation.

Decent hotel decent location

The soap dispenser in our bathroom was empty and we didn’t realize it until the shower was used for the first time. As a result we had to have someone bring a refill up immediately. The door also leaked a lot and we needed extra towels to wipe Up the excess water. The next day, rather than putting the new soap bottle in the wall dispenser to replace the empty one, housekeeping just left it on the floor.

Front desk staff were helpful with making reservations, location is great, pool is a nice amenity

Hotel description on booking.com includes "air conditioning" as an amenity. This hotel does NOT have air conditioning in the rooms. We were told "the concrete floors helps keep it cool". There is a box AC unit in the lobby but no air conditioning inside hotel rooms. We discussed this with front desk staff and they did provide us with a fan but kept stating that the concrete floors were air conditioning. I reported this to booking.com who told me they would have to contact the property to confirm, not shocked that the property "never responded to them" acknowledging there is no AC. Be aware in summer months the lack of AC could be an issue. Asked to pay 30 euros to check in early on day of even though our room was already ready as stated by front desk staff. We arrived by train mid afternoon not adamant about checking into our room early but when arrived were told our room was ready but to access it before check in time (3 or 4pm) we needed to pay 30 euro (we arrived at 12:30pm for reference). No other hotels while staying in Europe asked for additional fees when a room was ready, instead they accommodated their guests in order to promote a good, comfortable, hospitable stay. Pool towels are crunchy and need a thorough wash. The environmental impact is great but so is a clean towel

The property is beautiful and quiet. It is an easy walk to all the stores and restaurants. The staff is exceptional. They helped us get a taxi to and from attractions for our family of 5 cheaper and more convenient than it would be to take a bus or train. A definite must stay.

My teenagers loved the breakfast. While it want my favorite, it was still great food.

I always find it helpful when a hotel offers in-house laundry services. This service was not available.

Good central location. Good sized, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was mostly good - proper croissants and pain au chocolat would have been much nicer than the mini variety served; nothing in the way of prepared fruit. Really disappointing that we turned up in mid April with sunny weather and they hadn't got around to opening up their swimming pool ? - if you're going to advertise this, then please also show when it is NOT in operation.
