- Position Pleasant bedroomGood food professionally served
Cons -
- The room needed an upgrade. The curtains were torn and drabby. The door to the bathroom would not close. Some of the electrical sockets did not work. The trademark "blue" light flashed all night outside the window. The wooden surround to the small veranda was terribly rotten and mouldy. This room really should not have been rented out. When I gave feedback to the manager, he was disinterested and dismissive. A very disappointing stay.
- Slow service at dinner
- Very few staff to help with any issuesA bit clinical rather than welcoming

The hotel was all but closedNo staff on duty on arrival or until the following morning No food or beverage Room and staircase to it in use but rest of facilities closed off
The beautiful views, generous breakfast and classic furnishing.
We forgot to book in for dinner!
The room was à good size. It was very clean. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was wonderful. Would stay again.
The beds were a bit soft. The humidity in the bathroom.
Lovely location and restaurant
I had to return my steak as it was grisly but did get another , but by this time my wife had finished ! I still paid full price with just a “sorry”
The room is spacious. It has a aircon and a couch. The lake view by the restaurant is nice. Really good cold beer €12 though in hotel bar. The price of the room is very fair.
Spiders. It would be great if this hotel had an email address. Staffs are nice but English is limited.
Location right by the river.Friendly staffNice breakfastComfortable bedGreat value
Breakfast was simple traditional French. But inexpensive.Bedroom simple but it all qorked. Good value. Di ner delicious.
Don’t go there - better off in a tent
place closed on a Monday so only bed..no food, no internet no staff at the property. Mattress terrible. It is not a spa bath as advertised it’s just a bath - not big. Towels old, small and like sandpaper.Breakfast was a lazy pre packaged something which we declined for £12 -If the majority of the place is closed on a certain day it should be mentioned - we had travelled for 12 hours and to get nothing.
Lovely location on the river. Staff seemed pleasant enough. Could be really amazing with some money spent on it and the right staff members.
Rooms have no air con and it was extremely stuffy and hot, had to sleep with windows and curtains wide open. Very noisy at night. Terrible smell from the front of the hotel (dead animal) wafting through the windows all night. Not enough towels in family room for all the family. Hotel not manned of an evening. Decor tired.
Location on the River, stayed before at La Rivage just along a bit.
Guest accommodation a bit tired, I think it’s more about Restaurant than guests.
We were not allowed to check in until 5pm. It was cold and rainy and we were stuck taking a cab back into Orléans until 5. Upon arrival our room was very cold. We were told by the owner via phone there would be no heat. We decided to leave and we’re not given any compensation for the bill.
Information regarding the lack of heat. It was 54 degrees and raining.
Nice clean room with good facilities.Restaurant closed the night we were there (Monday)
Room was good but no air con. The restaurant was absolutely excellent.
Air con
Bertrand was very friendly and we enjoyed our stopover in this lovely hotel. He recommended his other restaurant up the road which was very good.
Disappointed that the restaurant was not open on the day we stayed, we should have checked more carefully.
Good setting. Very good restaurantL
Smell of garbage bins close to hotel
it was terrible
it was nothing of what we expected. smelly and rundown place in a shed. Rooms are small with a view at the smelly garbage. The ‘boss ‘ was very unfriendly and when we complained about the room hé threatened to use our creditcard to get his money. Do not go Thérèse
the room was very comfortable.
unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we visited with no prior notice, we could also get me milk for tea due to no staff being available - otherwise this would have been perfect.
