Location was great and it was very quiet and very nice natural light in the bedrooms.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, it was shocking that there was an odd socks in the ceiling tapping an air exit and the toilet and shower were dirty.

Loved this place! It feels like an institution - absolutely filled with people for lunch every day. The jacuzzi was a nice bonus. Room was simple and clean with a big window (lots of fresh air). They even let me store my touring bicycle inside. The managers are big sweethearts. Location was close enough to all the best parts of town and even had a sizeable grocery store just around the corner. Super close to train station as well.

Full of character, friendly staff, hot tub, connecting rooms for families. Rooms need a revamp, especially bathrooms.

    The bed

None of the electrics in the shower room worked. Ran the hot water tap for five minutes, still no hot water he

Easy enough to get into, parking was available but it was just on the street so first come first parked I guess! Doors have electronic entry.

Smelled of stale alcohol and cigarettes as soon as you enter. I seemed to hear a lot of noise, I assume people were in the jacuzzi (I did not take advantage of it) toilet was separate to the shower cubicle which was a little small.

    staff is friendly, good location

I asked the staffs to clean my room, but they didn't do that

This place is amazing, very quirky and was a lot better than I was expecting for the price. The area is a bit less desirable, but if you can look past that, inside the hotel was a great surprise. The jacuzzi and the small garden is a big bonus. The location is only 15 minute walk to all the good stuff too. I will be back!

    Passable

The toilet seat was broken and moved all the time it was very difficult for my husband to use as he has just had a broken hip repaired. I reported it twice but nothing was done. Also in the other room i booked the shelf by the bed fell off the wall.

First of all I would like to thank to the lady in the reception. She was very kind and she greeted me with a smile on her face. The room was small but very clean, which I expect from an accommodation from the first place. The location was very convenient. You can reach on foot to the hotel just in minutes from the train station. There are restaurants and markets around. The surrounding was also quite and I had a peaceful stay.

There is no lift. It wasn't a problem for me but can be difficult for some people.

Very traditional French 2-star, immediate neighbourhood not appealing but a bare ten mins from central Clermont. Staff were helpful and traditional decor and ambience were appealing. Good breakfast in the bar area. Small and clean shared jacuzzi in the courtyard

    Cheap ,good location

I had the option to upgrade my room to a deluxe one, but the front desk (possibly the owner, who was wearing glasses) said there were no rooms available and refused the upgrade. When I asked about this, just to clarify, he misunderstood and thought I was complaining, then said I couldn’t stay at the hotel anymore if I kept complaining . We explained that finding another place to stay at this time would be very difficult, but he said it was up to him to decide. Although we decided to stay because it was hard to find another suitable place on short notice, I felt disrespected. It seemed like I was just asking a reasonable question but was treated harshly. Also, the place we are staying in is very hot during the day, and even with the fan on, it doesn’t help at all.

It is not far from train station and not so far from tramway.

I found a cockroaches in bathroom.

    8GretaPosted on: 8-2-2024

Location, liked the interconnecting room a lot. Ideal . Jacuzzi.

Would have liked a kettle in the room.

    6EamonPosted on: 5-17-2024

Noise by other guests was not acceptable and no action was taken by the owner.Breakfast was okMale staff are a little tired we think. A bit touchy if not approached deferentially.Location very good for train bus and tram. The girl on reception was very helpful. The jaccuzxi was good. The garden needs attentiin, so too the seating and tables.

Building needs money spent on it. Old shower, heaters. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Point 1 above.
