B&B HOTEL Clermont-Ferrand A71-A75 La Méridienne

Easy access and parking. Reception staff were happy to greet us and provide information. Hotel is very clean and welcoming. Our room was very good and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good choice of food for breakfast.

The bed was good and the room was clean and large. We ate at the restaurant Anatole on site and enjoyed the food and convenience. The decor in the lobby was nice.

A smart TV so we could sign into Netflix etc.

Location. Hotel room looked over a truck parking lot, demolished building and shopping centre parking lot. Far away from any attractions.

No simple Black tea at Breakfast

Near the motorway but quiet location so good for an overnight stay on our long journey through France. Staff very friendly and helpful. Typical continental style breakfast which was fine and reasonable value. Good EV charging facilities.

Having arrived quite late we were hoping to eat at the hotel restaurant only to find it was closed for all evening meals over the Christmas period.

Wasn't informed at time of booking that they were refurbishing hotel. Only one lift. Photos of rooms are deceiving as they show coffee machines in rooms. Breakfast was not good at all.

Breakfast has a lot of choice but not easy to navigate. You have mint tea, another tea with flavor but no simple black tea. Luckily I had my own, because we’d been before. I heard an English man say it should be BYOB bring your own breakfast.I found a spoon with visible jam on it, and another was sticky.

Location ok

Fire alarm went off at 1am. Packed everything up, woke dog and went outside for 30 mins… no-one seemed to know what was going on. False alarm and had to settle dog and try to get back to sleep myself. Fortunately had another overnight stay before channel crossing. Very tired, no apology so won’t stay at a B&B hotel again. Restaurant not open that evening - advance notice would have been helpful. Unsatisfactory all round.

Useless reception service. No one cared about our stay. There was no one to check us out. Room needs a fridge and extra pillows. No UK tv channels

Staff were fabulous, bed was comfortable and breakfast was lovely.

Aircon in room wasn’t great, did get a little warm, but this was a minor problem. Rooftop bar and restaurant were shut on the weekends which was a little disappointing.

Good value for money hotel on the outskirts of Clermont Ferrand. Clean, basic rooms. Good breakfast. Free, secure parking was ideal.

Lots of roadworks made it confusing to access.

The breakfast was Ok but the layout a bit awkward. One coffee machine was not working, the mugs were on a low shelf.

Having changed my arrival date, I didn't realise that there was no restaurant in the evening at weekends. This would put me off using the hotel again.

We really liked the restaurant and the food served. Very good value for the quality of the home made food.The bed was comfortable. We liked the fact that there were no carpets in the roomNice, friendly, professional welcome.

It was difficult to find and to leave.Over priced for the facilities provided. No tea and coffee making facilities or biscuits. Very basic furnishings. Only one pillow was disappointing.
