The Hill Apartments Currumbin Beach

Great staff who were always on hand for assistance. The apartment was very well equipped. The pool and spa area was great. The views were amazing and the location was excellent!

Excellent position with great views on the ocean. Quiet spot except for planes.

Every 5 minutes an airplane is landing over your head, nonstop morning to late night. If you arrive on a Sunday reception is closed and you have to face a little treasure hunt with locating key, apartment, car spot, etc.Sleeping from dawn onwards very difficult with full light in the bedroom and planes landing.Whole place is old and needs renovation.

Everything went very smoothly. Updated and modern. Hosts very attentive and responsive to questions and concerns. Having the apartment cleaned half way through our stay was a welcome surprise and very much appreciated. Apartment very comfortable and roomy for our family of 4. An amazing view from the large balcony, bedroom and loungeroom. The mirrored wall in the lounge very cleverly placed to maximise the view of the ocean.

Bathroom and ensuite could use the same update to match the rest of the apartment, but otherwise absolutely very clean and comfortable.

Access in and out is with the key fob only, even as pedestrians. We had to ask for an extra key fob.

The view was great and well located for the beach and access to Currumbin and Palm beach. Sue and Steve were great. We have twin 15yo boys and forgot to ask for separate beds. They changed our booking at late notice without an issue. Bring binoculars if you have a beach view apartment. You will see whales. You'll also see jets flying close overhead as the apartments are on the Gold Coast Airport flight path. The noise isn't bad, and they look awesome so no issue really.

It didn't worry us so much but if you struggle with steep walks and stairs then staying here may be an issue. The driveway is steep to walk up and if you are on upper levels, there aren't any lifts. Still, it helps with the fitness. :-)

Great location, walking distance to cafes, restaurants, beaches. Very spacious and well equipped apartment with magnificent views.

It's not disability friendly at all, many stairs to climb. We had no reserved parking spot for the first 22 hours we were there as they had given it to someone else.

Can’t be helped but traffic loud even with windows doors closed. Some people sure like to rev cars along there

Being older and coming from a low set house Having to climb 35 stairs with our bad knees . We would have welcomed a lift. But the unit itself was very nice .

Definately no lift too many stairs epecially as we had big Eskys full of food as we were catering for a party. We were lucky some lovely neighbours gave us a hand.

The apartment was in a great location - really close to local shops and beaches. The staff were very friendly and responsive.The appliances seemed new and the whole apartment was really clean. It was easy to access the pool amenities.The view was great, being able to see the beach and up the coast.I would definitely stay here again

With the positioning of the air con and the bedrooms, the back bedroom didnt get any of the cold air, even with the fans on so the room stayed really hot. If you used the toilet paper provided you had to buy more. It was great that there was a car space however it was caged - just made it a little difficult to get in and out for my 4WD but a smaller car would be mostly ok

I didn’t have a car and it was really inconvenient to stay there- no shops walking distance to get even bread or milk so not at all suitable without transport. Even to buy a transport card to be able to take a bus to shops, you’d have to go to the shops that are 25+ mins walk in super humid high heat!! The staff were not really helpful or even empathetic about my situation! That was quite disconcerting. I didn’t have a great vibe about the customer service staff to be honest…

There was no power for the first night booked, out of the hands of the property managers sure, but perhaps a reduction in price for the apartment might have been appropriate. The apartment floor on arrival was extremely dirty. I had to vacuum and mop the floors a couple of times before it felt clean. The lady that came to clean the apartment after my initial complaint was really lovely and did a terrific job. I felt the receptionist/manager was not particularly welcoming nor appreciated my feedback.

The view was amazing. The beds were comfortable. Apartment was spacious. The kitchen offered what was necessary so you could prepare all meals.

The parking spaces were very tight & depending on which space you were allocated, tricky to enter and leave. The stairs! Definitely not recommended if you have knee problems. Considering the price paid for this accommodation, having to make sure everything is left clean, and all rubbish removed, is inappropriate.

The location was excellent. The pool and spa area were great. It was nice and secure.

The pots and pans were dirty. The kitchen roller blind didn't work. We asked for pool towels to be replaced 3 days in and never got any 5 days later.The apartment was only serviced once in 9 days. The property managers were not accommodating.

It's a bit tired but the position makes up for any small cracks and blemishes.Stairs are a worry especially when you're in your mid 70's, probably have to source an apartment with a lift in future.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bedding was comfy and clean. The views were wonderful and the pool and spa were a great way to end the day.

Driveway and stairs very steep so need to be fit. Some minor issues with sliding mesh door and shower, nothing major though.

Convenient location with a car - handy to highway. Picturesque, quiet. Saw whales from the balcony. Well equipped, self sufficient. Comfortable apartment.

Had to drive to get anything, no shops in easy walk distance.
