Tiki Hotel Apartments Surfers Paradise

The location was perfect - we could walk to the Surfers Paradise Beach and the main streets/shops/cafes, etc. We got upgraded to a bigger apartment, which was nice - it was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view over the river.

The apartment was a little dated and could be a bit cleaner, there were only 2x forks for the family of 4, but nothing major.

Location is perfect.View is amazing from the room

No restaurant so had to make breakfast.

Location was close to Cavall Ave but noise from street was terrible. Rooms need a remodel but they are very large. No laundry. Facilities ie swimming pool had cracked and missing tiles which were a hazard. Kids loved the slide and pool was nice and big

Price, availability

Pull out lounge mattress was disgusting, filthy, in both apartments 706 & 707. we also had to make both sofa lounges in both apartments. The blankets were smelly and dirty. Toilet in 706 had a bad stench smell.

Location was great. Easy walking distance to cavil Ave and had a great view of the river.

The property is old and the room was uncomfortable and grimmy. 4 of us were booked to stay and they only had enough bedding for 2 people. It says it’s an apartment but they didn’t have an oven, broom or dustpan and broom to clean up. You had to pay $15 a day for parking. And pay $5 per load for the washing machine and $5 per load for the dryer. PowerPoints didn’t work. The one lamp in the whole apartment did not work. The fans only had 1 setting which was high. The bathtub was old and you had to step down into it and it had ugly black non slip tape on it. There was mould everywhere and the place smelled bad. The pool area was not cleaned once while we were there and there were broken tiles around the edge of the pool and the whole place just needs a massive overhaul.

We weren't that worried but wanted to watch the news on TV, but unfortunately, the TV lounge did not operate.

The reception staff were nice

The place was out dated, needing alot of work and filthy. You could smell the dirt, there were disgusting stains on the couch. The place was not clean,very dissappointed

Great location

Air-conditioner did not work...made for a very uncomfortable sleep.Apartment was rather dated, however was value for money in a great location with all the conveniences nearby.

Big Rooms

Many small cockroach.Very noisy at night time until about 3am.

We absolutely loved the slide

The elevator took forever to come up and down, one side of the elevator was broken down, the internet didn’t work, and the car park that you pay $15 a night for is far away from the lift

The view, the space, big bedroom, fantastic location

The maintenance, but we did see there was a reason for that. But can’t complain about anything. ??

It was in a great location everything was a walking distance away So spaceish The workers were so sweet and amazingAnd the view frim the spa was beautiful

I loved the rooftop spa and sauna location is perfect to get to casino and other places

Got up early to leave for home

too hot aircon only in kitchen, apartment was uncomfortably hot, guests & ppl outside extremely noisy, beds very uncomfortable you could feel the springs, off smell, unclean, we should have left in arrival, but didn't have enough funds to go elsewhere for our holiday

It was nice and close to shops and cafes

The noise from other guests opening a closing doors and yelling during the middle of the night. It echoed.

Great location very close to Cavill Ave, close to shops and restaurants. Pool is great kids loved the slide. Rooms are big and spacious.
