Surf Regency

The location is excellent. I had a wonderful room overlooking the beach. It was clean, sunny and easily accessible. I was especially happy because I left my business suit behind and the owners were very communicative and posted it to me promptly!

The property is in the best location you can ask for and it's very close to all the places in Surfers and the train station. It's so quiet at night so you can sleep peacefully. The staff is the best they help you whenever you have questions.

Remember that this is more so an apartment than a hotel so they won't give you new towels and fresh sheets more than once a week but there will be a washer and dryer you just need to get detergent from the grocery store that is very close. This wasn't their fault because of the cyclone a few months before but it was really hard to stay there during the day due to the jackhammer and the noise. They stopped at night so it was fine. Also when we got there there was a bunch of ants on the counter then we got rid of them then the next day there were 20 more. After getting rid of them again they were not there the whole trip. The cleaning lady was supposed to come at 10 and we planned our day around it then she didn't come until around 12 when we came back so that was annoying. The good out ways the slight imperfections though.

The view from the 10th floor was lovely. The pool is also nice and a good size. The apartment is a nice size with a full kitchen. It's also close to the beach and only a 5 minute walk to Cavill Avenue.

Amazing friendly staff who were pleasant to deal with at check in. The room was amazing - spacious, clean and quiet. All items within the room worked or were of good quality. The balcony and the view were amazing!

The apartment had a great view,location and was right near the beaches.

I would of liked to have a bit more tea and sugar available to me,including milk and more channels on the tv to choose from.

Loved the view of the beach from our balcony. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, surf club etc. Great. Staff were always friendly. Unit was lovely and spacious with good facilities.

Spa looks like it needs a bit of updating but ok. Shame the sauna wasn't in use due to the renovations going on, but pool was nice. Strange to not have any visitor parking, but probably as it's an older building.

Some cups were dirty, time to change pillow cases and bed sheets, seems old and washed many times

The apartment was very newly refurbished and very clean and two bathrooms which was fab and 180 deg views of the ocean. Staff were awesome and the pool was spotless and empty - we loved the location and only two mins to the beach

View was awesome. Location is very handy - at a stone throw from Surfer's Paradise beach, plenty of restaurants, activities and market. Pool and Spa was good as well. Parking space provided and kitchen has most of the utensils required for cooking.

The main room window glass was loose and with wind it was making noise whole night - which caused disturbed sleep. Wall paintings coming off at bottom and I can see the small paint peel at the carpet.

Property is a very old property, but suited our stay. it was value for money, Great location.

We booked for April 15,16,17 and had a room on floor 11. Excellent view and o.k room. Very noisy renovations were taking place on floor 12. A jack hammer was working immediately above us and the room was made uninhabitable by the noise and dust falling. I had several conversations with the staff and many apologies were given. I asked for financial compensation; one day's tariff. They countered with half, which we didn’t take. We were shifted to the fourth floor. The management are knowingly booking people into rooms that are directly below jackhammers working and are happy to say sorry. and take the dollars. Dreadful.

The view from the rooms were amazing. Great walking distance from everything.

Check in time is 2pm but office shuts at 1pm on a Saturday. Tried 3 times to call so we could get in. Finally reached a woman that was incredibly rude.

Great location, good size apartment with all needed elements. Only real negative is that it is very old and everything is aged.

Security and location

No sauna or spa

Great location and convenient parking. There were some ants in the kitchen, but otherwise clean.

Cleanliness, comfortable, staff, balcony view and mostly clost to every shops and anything.

Good views and pool, comfortable for our group of three. Able to walk to everything (shops, beach)

Ensuite shower had low pressure.

Great location, large and well equipped apartment. Easy parking and helpful staff.

Unfortunately no hot water but we did arrive just after cyclone Alfred

Excellent location within walking distance of everything. Balcony had beautiful view and pool area nice.

Apartment a bit tired and could do with a small makeover.
