Waiuku Lodge Motel

It was such a peaceful location in the room we had, outside lawn area to sit and enjoy the evening.Staff made sure everything was ok with our room, and told us about local attractions to check out

Anne was super lovely, caring and accomodating. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space, and though dated, units were very clean. Everything we needed.

The room was not clean and very old furniture but the bed was ok

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, great facilities and the owner was amazing and attentive, gave us a free room upgrade and extra couple hours stay, such a lovely lady, we definitely recommend staying and we will be back to stay again for our next trip!

The person who Booked us in was lovely and helpful she went out of her way to make things better Booking.com needs to be at fault as well it needs to monitor what it is promoting

Oh my god I had to clean out the air con filter it was disgusting the room is one of the oldest most poorly maintained rooms I have ever seen This place needs a major overhaul

The owner of the motel was accomodating and left us fruit, muffins, milk and orange juice, plus wine. it was a nice touch.

the single bed i slept in the first night was very uncomfortable. Also no instructions on how to use the tv.

The owner was friendly, but had a barking alsation dog at her side at all times, very intimidating.

Very run down ans shappy, needs some major renovations, very 3rd world.We found snails on the bathroom and bedroom walls.Im pretty sure the sheets had been slept in.

Friendly reception and our room was private and quiet. There was a lovely area under a tree near our room which was very relaxing to sit under. We slept very well in a very comfy bed. Our stay was exactly what we needed after quite a long flight.

We stayed here because it was close to Navigation Homes Stadium where we were attending a concert. Wonderful staff member rang to check in on us as we were checking in late and left our room open for us with lights on when we arrived which we appreciated. Ease of check in and check out was great as we also left early. Bed was very comfortable. Room very spacious. Coffee was great!

Everything was fine for a nights stay for us.

Friendly staff and very convenient location. We were able to bring our little dog.

The television is a bit old and the couch very uncomfortable. In the kitchen there was a hardly any cooking utensils.

Unit 2: It was very smelly, some spots were never cleaned. Only a few power outlets. Coffee maker is missing.

Very accommodating and the unit had everything we needed with a couple of bonus items, such as the chocolates. Lovely hostess.

as expected we supplied our own breakfast. The motel was easy to locate on a fairly busy road. Because of its age windows were not double glazed & our unit was close to road so road noise somewhat intrusive. The host was most affable but as she is not the owner of the motel she expressed frustration that owner is reluctant to properly upgrade the motel units. Comfortable bed.

Much maintenance needed & furniture needs to be better proportioned for the size of the unit e.g a very large dining table & 4 chairs took up much of the kitchen space. Step up into shower box & a very slippery shower floor was hazardous to older aged clients.

The lady was very friendly

The facilities were ver basic andpoor ....e.g. plastic shower curtain, TV remote broken etc.

Location was very handy. Only 2 minute drive to main Street if town. Nearby beach was close. 30 mins from Awhitu Regional Park

Cooked our own. Hosts were gorgeous souls. Our hot water had been turned off, so my son had a shower in another unit until the water heated in ours. Very grateful for this ?

Nothing really. On the main road but didn't hear a lot of traffic.
