Taylors Motel

Great location with only 3 minutes off State HW1, but very quiet rooms thanks to the good quality buildings. Also, ample kitchen and bathroom facilities come with good wifi.

Occasional noise from the highway, despite negligible after window and door facing the highway were shut.

The room is modern and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is quiet even the property is situated in front of the street.

Great motel. Lovely staff and comfortable spacious room

It was all good.

The staff were super friendly, the rooms really clean, and gardens beautiful. We had a really lovely stay here and would definitely come back.

Nothing really, our bed was a little lumpy but the rest was so good we could look past that.

Clean and good loca. Very helpful staff

Everything was thought of, maconna coffee sachets ( often the coffee in motels is dreadful) hand sanitizer, more bathroom toiletries than you usually get in a motel of this price. Beds were amazingly comfortable, beautiful gardens at the property. Very quiet. A motel like this usually costs us a lot more. Thanks so much - highly recommend Taylor's Motel.

Great staff from the moment I walked in. Accommodated my room servicing request (I prefer less) and the garden was lovely to walk through each morning on the way to the car park.

Woman was very welcoming. Took us to unit showed us everything. Turned on heat pump. Every time we passed her she engage in a proper conversation. Definitely a people person. Right personally for a motel manager.

The weather.

My son, my sister, and I booked this accommodation to visit a family member in Ashburton, and from the beginning, we were welcomed and looked after. The room is beautifully laid out and had everything we needed.

This is a very small inconvenience, but my only suggestion would be to have a few more shampoo and conditioner sachets because one sachet of shampoo for 3 people is not enough. I did go to the front desk, and they gave us one sachet of shampoo and one sachet of conditioner so my sister could wash her hair the next day, so that was fine! ?

Friendly welcome and good walk to shops. Bed was very comfortable.

Our room had a mouldy smell which was overwhelming. We slept with door and window open. Door also didn’t lock as broken but felt safe nevertheless.

Clean well appointed room. Good size room. Good location

Location, friendly staff

Pool was not open

Immaculately clean and well-presented, the room was a perfect retreat — neat, quiet, and surprisingly well soundproofed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and fast, hassle-free Wi-Fi and a smart TV added to the convenience, and the central location made everything easily accessible. A great stay!

We like the location it is relatively quiet and within walking distance to restaurants and cafes but if you wanted to self cater the facilities are excellent

Room was spotless. Comfortable room, bed, perfect faculties. Friendly staff. Top notch.

Really lovely place. Great rooms overlooking gardens. Comfy beds. Top notch!

Tranquil. Very nice comfortable lodgings in a great residential location. Excellent off street parking. Well maintained apartment overlooking beautiful gardens and a well set up barbecue area. Excellent beds and linen. In addition the proprietor was most helpful; thoughtful and cooperative. We are regular travellers through this area and will make sure to stay at Taylor’s in the future.

Nothing, it was all we hoped for.

Very clean , new attractive decor , bath , helpful staff

Nice staff, nice room, beautiful garden, very comfortable stay.

Friendly and courteous staff. The room was exactly as advertised, and very clean. The bed was super comfortable, and I only wish that I needed to spend more time in the area in order to enjoy a longer stay. I will definitely stay here again.
