Ashburton's Regency Motel

The room size , the pool, the bed

Spa bath not working which is one of the reasons I chose this room,so that was disappointing. But everything else was great

Large room and bathroom, nice outside seating area.

Kitchen sink was not clean, light fitting above the bed was loose.

The room was really nice and spacious, and well laid out. The leather couches were super comfy for watching the telly. The beds were super comfortable, a great sleep.

The only thing was the pool was not cleaned for swimming, however; it was in the process of being cleaned and it is relatively early in the season. This did not negatively affect our stay, however; we would have had a dip if available.

Pleasant enough though could do with a freshen up. uneven carpet not good for elderly

Basic room with all the necessary amenities, enough space to open two big suitcases and still be able to move around. Nice, modern bathroom. The heating system works well and fast. Easily accessible from the main road. Parking spot in front of the room.Good value for money.

Beds and pillows were suprisingly comfortable.

Could do with some renovating. Clean and tidy but a bit dated. At the edge of town, bit further out than expected.

Perfect the way it was

Perfectly comfortable, large room, good facilities. Pool available but now out of season.

A reasonable walk of 20 min to the main body of shops and restaurants.

It suited our needs as it was just an overnight stop after getting off the plane in Christchurch on our way to Dunedin.

Pillows are always an issue on holidays and these ones were just ok.

Great location for parkrun. Nice looking outside with a red bench. The whole space was clean & really well done. Big living room with large well equipped kitchen. Huge bathroom. Loved it. Great value for money. They let us stay a bit later too.

I would have loved a bedside table and lamp next to the single bed.

Good location room quiet only hear the train not so much highway traffic

A couple of lights not working

I left my carry-on bag in the room.The staff had it mailed to me in Australia. Communication was terrific.Thank you.

Fine place for a short stay while en route during travels. Staff was very nice. Pool looked good but didnt get a chance to use it.

Clean comfortable and well equipped

Easy to find and spacious, even though we were only passing thro Ashburton en route to airport.

No soap, and no milk. Could not make a coffee and had no soap myself for shower as expected it would be provided as per normal. Containers empty.

The unit is badly in need of an update and staff should check everything is refilled and milk provided in fridge.
