We arrived during a rainstorm, and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. They made us feel right at home.

Parking is awful! We ended up denting up our very tiny vehicle trying to park in their very tiny garage. Ibis' parking is always unreliable. If you are not traveling by vehicle, I'd totally stay at an Ibis; however, if you have a vehicle, I'd stay at a B&B Hotel chain.

    Breakfast was good.

The room on the 5th floor in the atic was tiny with only a deluxe window, so there was no view of the river.. One of the reasons we booked was the location. There was no space in the room and the bed was not a full-size double. It was much too small for a couple and a dog. They didn't receive my request for parking, so we had to use the public one, which was more expensive, a walk across a busy junction and not secure. Again, the fact that they had secure underground parking was a reason we booked.

    Nice staff. Caring.

The place is simply run down in a run down area. Noisy street, noisy airconditioning, worn out bathroom. Nice to have a pool table in the lobby, but no chalk for the cue because “no budget”.

The staff are amazing!!! We have been there 2 times , and to be honest we come back to see them. The breakfast was really good ,so much nice on the buffet. We are coming back.

Hotel easy to find. Beautiful location and nice looking reception area. Underground parking available.

Mattress thin and not the best. OK for one night.

    7EduardPosted on: 11-29-2024

    Underground parking

Close to very busy road junction and hence noise and air pollution from that road.Dated interior and tired bathrooms

    Good location to walk everywhere

The “bar” didn’t have any white wine. The only food available is heat up frozen pizzas. The manager was very offhand regarding the wine and food saying that it wasn’t a restaurant. If that was the case then don’t have a bar and food menu.

    5MelPosted on: 10-29-2024

    Comfy bed

Beware parking is available with booking but restricted by height which is no good with a VW

    3SamerPosted on: 10-28-2024

    Poor

Not enough towels and only bath size nothing fir face drying or hair drying… the hotel is not generous in term of amenities ie kleenex, toilet paper. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned or tidied. At breakfast the jam is always at the end of the pot, no decaf coffee available, no bread assortment. And the worst was the bath water, as it got unexpectedly very hot

Good hotel for one night to visit must see Gallo-Roman museum (6 minute walk) with outstanding mosaics.

    Nothing to note.

    7TraceyPosted on: 9-30-2024

Well, it is an Ibis hotel, so very typical. Room clean but basic. Our view was fantastic- roof tops and the castle. If you were on the other side, then the traffic would have been a nightmare. We got lucky. Did not have breakfast, as only stayed one night. Central to the old part of Vienne, walking distance to all the main sights.

Parking. We paid extra, but the underground carpark had no lighting and was ridiculously tight. I now have a French birthmark on my car.

Good location to explore the town.

Difficult to drive in to. Property is a bit worn down and the bar is under stocked.

    4AnetaPosted on: 9-24-2024

Only the friendliness of the reception staff.

The hotel is in dire need of a complete renovation. The room was subpar, and the mattress had noticeable stains. The breakfast offered was very poor. Additionally, if you're unlucky enough not to secure a parking spot at the hotel due to the limited number of spaces, good luck finding one nearby, as the area around the hotel is usually quite full.

we stayed for the jazz festival, one night and it was a nice location for it and good value for its money.

can´t recall anything, we had a great time in Vienne

    7NigelPosted on: 9-21-2024

The place is in a great location.Hotel was very good but staff weren't as please t as in previous ibis hotels

The parking is completely inadequate was told no spaces parking across road which is full. We had to park 10 minute walk away in open and spent night worrying about car. She said we had to reserve space in car park but nothing on booking site to say that vet unimpressed

    8BarbaraPosted on: 9-20-2024

    It was all ok.

I had messaged asking about car parking but didn't receive a reply. We phoned to ask but the information given was difficult ti follow. Where the hotel is located, the roads can be difficult to navigate. Eventually we found somewhere to park but it wasn't easy

    7ShanePosted on: 9-16-2024

Location, quiet room, clean, friendly reception/cleaning staff. Comfy bed

One new member of staff was polite but wasn’t efficient. Twice told us on different evenings that there wasn’t any white wine but other staff found some!!!Parking is problematic. Underground car park is very limited for spaces and very tight and booking essential. There is parking outside hotel but car needs moving by 8am for deliveries. Local parking is a good 5 min walk and up to 20 euros for overnight parking.
