Grand Hotel De La Poste - Lyon Sud - Vienne

The historic charm of the building and its decor were appealing, the desk clerk was very personable, and the location was excellent, near restaurants. Bike storage was easy and safe. Due to rain, we postponed leaving, but waited comfortably in a lounge area after checkout time.

My husband ran out of hot water when showering!

Good location

The rooms were renovating, but the other area of the hotel were very quickly updated and contain many elements that are difficult to clean properly for such a high traffic area.

Staff was great, location is central and very accessible to the Rhone for cyclists; bike parking is excellent. The rooms are small but decorated with flair. Air conditioning works well and beds are comfortable. The breakfast room is lovely and the breakfast comes with two options - would be smart to clarify what is included with the smaller one as it might be better value, depending on your appetite.

Lovely little hotel - very central location 5 mins from train station: comfortable room, good bed, hot shower and especially good breakfast in very attractive, bright room. Lovely staff too!

Horrible experience. We had "apartment". Work the entrance from the garage. No hour water no heating work old furniture. Highly advise to avoid this place.

No parking on street due to the weekly market each saturday. Paid parking at the nearby railway station 17 euro.

Decor fun. Breakfast excellent. Great location. Train station, museums, monuments, shops… everything is close.

Too noisy. Traffic at all hours. Window insulation not adequate.All the doors in rooms slam. It’s very alarming. Woken several times late at night with doors banging.No air vent in the bathroom. Impossible to shave as mirror covered with condensation.Light too dim in the bathroom.

Lovely quirky hotel in the heart of Vienne. Great location, room was nice. There are lots of places to eat. Breakfast was lovely, especially the Jam. We only spent 1 night. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we were looking for free parking.

It was very noisy at night if you wanted the window open. Once shut, it was fine.

Charming hotel in the heart of Vienne, in an amazing location very central and close to the ancient theater. Nice and available staff, comfortable beds.

LOCATION, The only positive thing about this hotel is location, just a few steps from the train station and some blocks away from the Theatre Antique (concerts)

The central location.

The room was really quite small, especially the bathroom and shower were really tiny, and the odor in the room was giving old people vibes.Also the water pressure was very low.

I loved the decor, especially in the dining room and entry way. Big bold wall paper prints and solid mismatching furniture colors really brought you into the space. The room was a good enough size and the bathroom modern which was nice. Edges of the hotel seems a little worn down, curling rugs in the hallway, funky elevator, edging on the stairs, but it added to the charm, rather than detracted. Breakfast was yummy.The staff were most excellent.

Lots of stairs so inaccessible by wheelchair or with my stroller. I will pay more attention booking in the future if I need less stairs.

Great location

The air conditioner decided to make loud noises about every 20 months starting at 2 am. It was a terrible night sleep.
