Hotel Riu Oliva Beach Resort - All Inclusive

I thought the location was fabulous. The staff were particularly nice and the food was great, I will definitely be going back.

The only thing was that there was no internet connection in our room.

Pool, location, staff

Very good location. Close to bus stop and the beach. Nice sea view from the balcony. Good food.

It was convenient to the airport

1. The bathroom light wasn’t working, so had to have a shower in the dark2. The front door was rotten at the bottom, and as it was raining, this meant lots of rain water leaked into the entrance3. Cockroaches in the room4. Food was very basic and lots of flies were landing on the food which is very unhygienic

Seafront location

Dirty outdated rooms and the furniture, hazardous materials, sanitary issues - saw a cockroaches in the room as well as in the restaurant. At the check out by 11 am the bracelet has been taken off and no access was given to the restaurants ( this was not the same two years ago when we could still have full access to the hotel facilities). Kids could not use inflatable rings to swim or even play with the ball in the pools, despite the fact it was absolutely allowed for the first 5 days, then the rules have suddenly changed

The location of the hotel is perfect, the view from the room amazing, the staff extremely polite, food and drinks were excellent as well as the entertainment and animation team. The hotel is a bit old fashioned and the beds are a bit uncomfortable but that did not bother as. Overall it was a great stay! We loved it here.

Location

Unfortunately, my husband and I became very sick after eating at the hotel, and to make matters worse, we found a cockroach in our room. The rooms are extremely outdated — it feels like nothing has been updated since the 70s. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable, and overall, the accommodation did not meet comfort standards. This was not the experience we expected.

Good resturant, clean facility , close to beach

No WiFi in the rooms. All people must go to reception areas to access their WiFi Internet. Not good for Nomads and business people who want to relax and also do bit of their business. Too far to the airport it will cost you course to 55-60 euros one way trip for the hotel.

The hotel and facilities were first class the staff are very attentive to your needs the hotel and rooms were spotless. The food was varied and plentiful and always hot and well cooked.

The setting on the beach . The food was very good , reasonably priced for all inclusive.

Very loud music from the entertainment team during the day around the pool. I am sure some people like this but it’s not for us!! We like to go on holiday & relax and like some peace & quiet.

Good location, nice pool, wide range of activities, nice environment. Very professional and kind staff.

I had to have breakfast earlier than 7:30h (on check-out date) and there were only one type of bread (no toaster available) and only a donut to eat (despite the bread). No waiter assistance there.On some activities, sometimes we don't know where is the meeting point.

Location is absolutely out of this world if you want a beach holiday. Two of the best beaches I have ever seen either side of the hotel.The staff and food were excellent.

It’s a bit dated especially in the rooms but that’s not what you come here for, the location is incredible.

Food was nice and staff was helpful especially the head of house keeping as Family Annex was in very poor condition. So he helped to find a better room in the main hotel.

Annex is in very poor condition and bugs everywhere (outside AND inside the property). There is no WiFi in the all of the Annex area or higher floor of the main hotel. Beach towel service finishes at 12noon and no more thereafter whilst the pool is available till evening. Shortage is not an excuse.

It is a beautiful hotel and a fantastic beach on its doorstep, the staff couldn't have been friendly and helpful, Very easy to get there by public service from the airport 9,80euro for both of us, we got a taxi back because we had an early flight, the hotel booked it for us 50 euros, We will definitely go back,

The staff and professional service provided.

The parking area is not well described. Access not indicated properly. The mattress was old and unconfortable. The mattress support structure was broken. Some of the light bulbs did not work. No internet in the rooms. Got bitten by a flea overnight.

Loved the location

I haven't done all inclusive for many years so was interested to see how or if things had changed . The resort was situated a short walk off the main road by the beach. My room was a very good size, with a balcony over looking the pool area. The food and choices offered each day were excellent, and the staff kept the counters well stocked. Considering the size of the hotel and number of guests, the restaurants area's were kept clean by the very hard working staff. Tables were cleared quickly and table cloths changed after each quest. It did get a bit busy at times, especially around the pool area. There was entertainment for the quests, daily aqua aerobics, pool games and at 1 pm, the staff sang the "resort song" for everyone to join in. A variety of things to do and an evening entertainment program which didn't go on too late.

It did get a little noisy at busy times of the day, but it was a large complex and I stayed over the Easter holiday period.
