Bahiazul Resort Fuerteventura

The property was very clean, very friendly staff and over all well equipped.

While the property was impressive, the food did not match the same level of quality.

Breakfast excellent.Jacuzzi a very big plus.

Only once had dinner ( Japanese evening ) which was a bit disappointing since we compared it to Japanese restaurants.

- Staff are helpful and super kind.- Buffet has good selection of food, while not the best that is to be expected.- It was my sister in law’s birthday so at breakfast I requested a cake if possible and they brought this out some lovely brownies with candles on it and roses accompanied by a happy birthday song over the speakers and later left a local wine which was a nice surprise to come back to after visiting Oasis wildlife that day!- The reception team were super helpful in getting a rental car sorted for us almost immediately as well as a taxi!- Kitchen and washing machine so you can cook your own food and keep your clothes fresh.- Smart TV.- AC.- The jacuzzi is amazing if you can get a villa with one.- 1000000% recommend the spa. I had a time for detox facial which was absolutelyyy amazing.- Lots of parking.- 5 minute walk away from Lidl and Mercadona.

- Bluetooth speaker - didn’t work, asked to get it fixed, no one came to do so the first time. I had to call again the next day and they sent someone who couldn’t fix it in the end and needed to order a part in order to do so - the maintenance guy was really lovely though. Unfortunately could not use this for the duration of the stay, it would have been nice to.- Two rooms are interconnected out of three - so the person staying in the interconnecting room has to either a) go through the master bedroom to get to the general living area and disturb whomever is in there or b) go from the outside. The third room can only be accessed by going outside and tapping a key card.- The pool is COLD. You cannot have the pool heated for a couple of days, it needs to be the duration of the whole stay and that is not clear from the onset. Paying over 5,000 for this private villa, you’d expect not to have to pay another 300 for a heated pool. Its not implied at all that you would need to request this before your stay or for the whole duration of the stay: ‘For a heated pool, there is an additional cost of EUR 31 per day, and 72 hours advance notice must be given.’ Having a 2 year old with us who couldn’t stay in there long at all made this a waste of money as this was one of the main reasons we paid for this villa (private pool) so she could build her confidence in a less busy space.- The showers are slip prone as it’s all tile. Around the pool is slippery. Both are not great for kids or older people.- Two rooms have showers & toilets with no doors. If you want privacy or to contain the smell/moisture, you won’t have any.- As expected of a buffet, the restaurant is okay. Not many vegetarian options and sometimes signs were missing so you couldn’t tell if something was vegetarian or not. It had absolutely great service and friendly staff.

The staff and communal areas were nice. Breakfast and dinner was good.

There was a derelict villa next door which you had to see to have the sea view. Our 'Royal villa' was tired and underwhelming for the price. The toilets kept running, there was a drain smell constantly and blocked with hair. The shower became a foot bath very quickly so didn't feel clean. Basic facilities and was worse than the garden villa we had stayed in on a previous visit.I'm disappointed and paid too much. We won't return unfortunately.

The food was good and staff very friendly The main thing we liked was the privacy to use the pool and sun bath.The site was very tidy and planting scheme was beautiful.

The only down side was the site was a long walk to the local beaches

It was in many ways the perfect combination of a hotel and a villa. You had your own private pool and hot tub, and a huge, largely private rooftop space for dining or sunbathing - and your own kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine and dining area - yet with the facilities of a hotel when you wanted them. I would get sick of eating catered food three times a day - so you can simply walk to the local large shop and restock your fridge. We loved it. It was immensely relaxing.

We liked everything. However, given the location, we would recommend that you had a rental car for the duration of the stay - or for part of it. The hotel is in many ways very well located on the edge of Coralejo - so is very quiet while still being close to the town by car. But it is some distance to the large beaches near Coralejo, and in any case some of the best beaches are near El Cotillo, etc. To be honest, we would recommend a rental car for any holiday in Fuerteventura.

The villa was exceptional, very clean and spacious. The pool, although small, was a welcome addition after a long walk. The restaurant food was excellent with a huge variety of dishes. The staff were efficient, personable and welcoming.

Service is excellent ! If there is anything you need or want they will arrange it for you.. just ask !Really everybody greets you with a big smile and they make you feel really welcome.Breakfast is very good, there is really everything you want, if not, just ask..Diner buffet was very very nice, always hot and refilled. Special corner for kids. Desserts perfect! Variety of many cheeses and cold cuts (loved the Iberico ham) Staff at the restaurant always serve you with a big smile.Pool was well heated up to 27degrees ( which you need ) Hot tub on the roof terrace is lovely but it needs an hour to heat up. The bed in our premium villa was very cosy! (Read small !) Did not sleep very well the first night and mentioned it the next morning.. they arranged a topper immediately and slept like a baby the next days.Bathroom shower is good and very clean. Only 1 small sink. So bathroom could really need an upgradeResort is kept very clean and feels safe with the excellent service of the guards at the front gate.Cab to city centre takes 5 minutes. Would have liked to be a little closer to the town. However it’s only a short taxi trip

The location of the object was good, close to the supermarket store, the beach, and not far from the center.

The cleaning service was bad. The cleaning lady was supposed to come every 3-4 days, but she knocked once the 4-the day during the morning, we were at home at the moment, and she didn't come back at all. So- NO cleaning/fresh towels/etc. in 6 days. Very bad service for that kind of money. The breakfast was almost entirely bought in Lidl and it was recognizable (no offense to Lidl, we love it, but it should be better than that in a 4-star resort). The size of the bed and hot tub was too small (if you are a person of height 180cm and more). They don't charge water in the morning, but they do charge it in the evening 8 euros per bottle. Pool is not heated and outside is often windy and it is not very pleasant to swim if you are feeling cold.

stayed in villa 2-1. right at front by reception which was great but drains and damp smell throughout the villa and therefore transferring on to clothing.

Very nice place with a great atmosphere and feels very safe when you have children with you. Breakfast had a huge variety and is exceptional. Staff couldn’t be friendlier will be returning.

Not faults but if it could be improved I would say maybe some darker blinds as they dont block out very much light at all. A/c system we couldn’t get to work how we wanted it.

We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and the breakfast was fantastic. It was beautifully a presented buffet and absolutely everything was there. Delicious.There are 2 supermarkets 5 minutes walk away.

The layout, space and pool area. Hot tub and roof terrace, sunbeds and chairs.

Paid a lot to heat the pool and it was never warm. Hot tub also took hours to warm up.
