Spring Arona Gran Hotel - Adults Only

Molded walls, the airco has dripping water in the room, there were small bugs in the entire room (we guess due to the plants outside), stuff was not very friendly (last time the managers were in the building and the stuff was performing, but this time I guess they were on holidays), too loud in the evening due to daily live concerts (we love it but every night we have to sleep late because of that reason which is not very pleasant if you wish calm and tranquility to recharge your batteries after months of work). As for food, we got a lot of options, but in all honesty, we did not enjoy it every evening (just 3 nights was tasty). The activities organized by the team were not the best (quite mediocre), from the language skills to the actual exercise. For us it was not a great experience. It's too expensive for what is advertised for.

We had a wonderful stay at Spring Arona Tenerife! ?The food selection was fantastic with plenty of choices to suit everyone’s taste, and the restaurant team truly stood out — a special thanks to Carlos Perez for his exceptional service and kindness. The staff across the hotel were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with fun activities available throughout the day to keep things lively. Sun loungers were in high demand (perhaps a few more could be added), but they were cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The swimming pools were also regularly checked, keeping the water fresh and safe.Overall, the restaurant was the real highlight of our stay — top quality in both food and service. This is why we are happy return every year!

Pool area was really nice. Breakfast was delicious every day.

Bed was too hard. Not enough entertainment in the evening, surrounding area of the hotel is a bit run down.

Lovely hotel , went had a free upgrade to a junior suite , which was superb amazing sea veiws , pool was very nice although quite busy , breakfast was so good fresh squeezed orange and real honey very nice stay ,

Breakfast lots of choices but sometimes not very hot. Pool areas and lobby area good.

The room didnt look like luxury picture. Some of staff very unwelcoming. The bathroom and pools towels were very warn. No welcome accessories in bathroom. Hand items not topped up. Definitely could be loverly hotel but needs more twicks and more smiles.

Generally very peaceful, comfortable with great selection of food.

One main bar and every night between 6pm to 8pm a pianist was dominating the place. Drove us crazy! There’s only so much piano playing you can take.Generally, the entertainment was poor and repetitive.Shortage of staff, no bellboy service. Value for money came into question.Average age is high.

Dining room overlooked the harbour. The ferries would be coming and going, so always something to look at.

Loved the outdoor jacuzzi. The other pools felt freezing cold and I could not get in to have a swim. It would’ve been nice to have at least one of them heated. The Christmas decorations were still up when we arrived on 3 January and they were beautiful.

The Reception staff Were not good at all. when we arrived a group of four were already checking in. This was 6:20 pm. We had to wait half an hour before she even started checking us in. She said she was the only one on because her colleague was on a break! By this time there were us and two other couples waiting to check in. her colleague on the came on about 7 pm. We got our keys to the room at 7 pm. when you’ve been on a 5 hour flight, queued up to get through the airport et cetera You just want to get in your room. Don’t want to be waiting at Reception for half an hour. It was actually quite pathetic and the staff were ignorant, not welcoming at all and not helpful.We had side sea view room 634 or 643. I’m not sure. I paid for a full sea view and Pool view. We didn’t get any sun on our balcony all day long. if we’d had the full Sea view we would’ve got some sun on the balcony for a part of the afternoon at least. Very disappointed that we didn’t get sun on our balcony at all.

Breakfast and food quality was good. More information would have been good at the start.

Information provided could and should have been better. The room was on the small side and the TV kept on losing signal. I did expect a little more.

Beautiful hotel, pool area is lovely

We were very disappointed the evening entertainment was indoors, don't understand why it was inside on lovely warm nights when most people were sat outside. Also checking in and out took far too long, people were getting fed up waiting.

Lovely hotel, nice and clean! Reception staff friendly. Lovely balcony overlooking the beach and was handy being able to pay with the room card so we didn’t have to bring money with us. They also had water fountains around the hotel which was really great to save buying water. Breakfast was good.

A lot of the reviews complimented the food, which there there were a lot of food options which was good however the labelling of the food was really poor. A lot of the food didn’t have adequate signage so it made it very hard to tell what was what, which made food options limited for vegetarians and certain allergens/intolerance as they couldn’t risk it. Not somewhere for fussy eaters but overall dinner was okay. Wish they kept more base options each evening. There was a work event/party on the Friday evening which was fine but we weren’t notified upon booking or check in that it was taking place and we couldn’t use the outside area in the day/evening of set up.

Super breakfast buffet with everything that you could want. Exceptionally clean and well organised hotel. Staff were very friendly and very willing to help. 2 lovely swimming pools and a spa pool. Room was well appointed with a nice patio set to sit on and watch the sun go down. We decided to use the spa to treat ourselves to a massage and the staff there were lovely.

Very noisy bar next to the hotel which was annoying but we appreciate that is nothing to do with the hotel.

Nice room,bed and balcony. Good breakfast. Good location with supermarket,farmacy and healthcare next door. Wonderful wiew over the svimmingpool and beach.

The shower were not to reliable, constantly changing from cold to hot with low pressure. It would be nice to have a key on my arm instead of a card to take with you were ever you go, like the toilet from svimming pool.

Breakfast was great

Very slow service in the bars outside and in the evening. Waiting a long time for drinks especially at the pool bar where we were at the point of walking out after waiting over 15 minutes to place our drinks order - when the barman decided to serve us.

Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The pools were heated and clean. The location was perfect, close to everything, still in a quiet part of the beach.

A bit too many chairs around the pools taken by towels without anybody sitting there.

Perfect for a relaxing break. Good food and great facilities. Very clean and nice staff. Would go there again

And information booklet would be great to map out the facilities. The app was a bit combersome

Great location, modern well-maitained property, extensive range of facilities, superb choice at breakfast, well-furnished & comfortable rooms.

Really slow ( took almost 2 hours) check-in, check-in/ receptionist was a trainee who was completely out of his capability, really crowded pool area.
