Hotel Benahoare

The hotel is super comfortable and nice. We really liked the rooftop terrace which is the perfect place to have some rest while looking at the beautiful surrounding mountains and you can bring your own beverages and snacks - which are easy to buy in the supermarket that is only a couple of minutes far and is open almost nonstop! Breakfast is optional to buy, we enjoyed it on 2 occasions and it was super tasty, huge portions, good value for money. The receptionists were really nice and helpful.

The small pool at the terrace had cold water, we would have preferred it warm.

Staff were very friendly and helpful - they printed off some boarding passes for us and kept our luggage when we arrived before check in and wanted to go walking around the town.There was a very nice roof terraceClose to the old town and about a ten minute walk from the bus stop.

The hotel is modern and easy to walk around town. The bed is comfortable.

Very difficult to find parking near the hotel. We didn’t expect that it’s located in a busy city. Also one of the exterior pictures is actually the front picture of a museum across the street - very misleading.

The front desk staff was nice. The room was clean, and the location is great.

When you enter the hotel, you immediately get greeted by a smell of chlorine that follows you throughout the hotel. The room is dimly lit, the artificial light is not sufficient, and the window is very small and directed towards a neighboring concrete wall. The entirely tiled floor finishes this rather depressing atmosphere with poor acoustics. While the bed is clean, the bed sheets are partly torn. We requested a double bed but got two singles instead.The bathroom is not inviting at all. All equipment is old and that shows. The drainage in the bathtub is damaged, and the hairdryer is borderline useless.Overall, the room is from a different time and needs an overhaul. While you might still be able to charge 50 to 60 euros per night for this room, 100 euros is out of place. It was, by far, our worst accommodation (sample size of 5) on la palma island both in overall quality and money value.

Great location in the old town close to lost of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Took us a while to drive to it until we finally worked out which way we could drive up/down the street! Decent enough place close to the lovely pedestrianised centre of Los Llanos. Great base for walking. Good quality double glazed windows keep the room quiet.

Breakfast was on the small side, especially if you're walking. Coffee was good though.
