Garni Hotel Consul

It was a clean hotel, with very friendly staff. Hotel is 10 mins walking distance away from the city center. I stayed in november, room was hot, i didnt feel the cold, there was a heater and ac in the room. The room i stayed was an economy single room, it was a little bit small but i didnt spend much time in the room. They give breakfast with additional payment but i never tried. I enjoyed my stay. Castle is 15 mins of walking distance, Delta Planet shopping mall is 10-15 mins too. There are shops, restaurant and supermarkets around. You can try Kod Lafa for cevabi, there was a patisserie beside Kod Lafa, you can try for breakfast, i forgot the name but it is a chain patisserie there. If you want to use public transport to go to hotel, from city center (Trg kralja Milana station), you can get 1, 3, 4 or 10 and get off in next stop, it is 1 bus stop away from city center.

Location was good for me. Brewpub around the corner was a plus. Parking for my motorcycle was on site and secure.

Room was small and stairs narrow but not a surprise for Europe

Beautiful small hotel in the centre of Nis. Room was large, clean and modern. Great bathroom and terrace. The personnel went beyond regular service.We recommend the hotel to everyone and hope to visit it again.

This is a small, cozy hotel in a perfect location, not far from city center. The staff are extremely friendly.

Nice and modern room

The room is located near the reception and the bar, where there is constant smoking. The door to the room does not close tightly, so I felt like I was sleeping in a bar. I woke up smelling cigarette smoke.Breakfast was OK, but at 5 € it was disproportionately expensive for what was offered.Parking was provided in the hotel courtyard, but the parking space was so small that it was difficult to get out of the car. Parking was an extra 5 €.

Ealry morning, there was a loud noise from pipes of water/sewer system because of the suspended ceiling.

This was perfect for what I needed. Good price and a hot shower. Staff were helpful. Not far to walk to center or fortress

Bad soundproofing, very narrow stairs which lead to room so its difficult to carry luggage especially if you have back problems like i do.

Very good people and very clean rooms. I totally recommend it. Staff was very kind and friendly. They allowed us to park for some extra time for convenience on the last day.

There is no elevator and this might be hard for very old people. But not an issue as they are happy to help.

The hotel is cosy, at a very nice and convenient location. It has very tight parking for 5€ a day, and great staff that will give you an idea of where to go and what to do if the town is new to you.

I had a fantastic stay in the single room at this hotel! The room was spotless, incredibly clean, and well-maintained. It was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was super comfy, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. It’s clear the staff takes great care in ensuring a pleasant experience. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel's personnel was really wonderful. It was the main reason to choose the hotel for my second staying in Nish. They give special attention to everyone's needs to be fully satisfied. Wonderful people working at this hotel!

Short cable of the hair dryer. Some technical shortcomings with the shower caddy. Its bottom gets full too soon after start showering. These things, however, would not let you have some negative impression at all. Just details.

Very sweet and helpful staff, laundry was done fast and cheap. Spacious room, great bed, quiet. Fine breakfast. Super value for money. Everything absolutely perfect.

Very central location and friendly and accommodating reception staff. I would recommend booking the penthouse if you are after a bigger and quieter room.

The hotel does not have a lift and it was challenging to take our 20kg luggage up to our room on the third floor. Some towels were stained and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Drains of sink and shower were both clogged, there was some hair on the walls from the previous guests and dust on areas which could have easily been wiped.
