    Pros +

    • Very friendly and experienced staff. very nice boutique hotel. At walking distance from "centre ville".
    • The hotel was beautifully furnished with many interesting books, pictures and artefacts. Felt like a boutique hotel. A little oasis in not a particularly pretty part of town. The lady who ran the hotel was extremely helpful arranging taxis for us and generally being very welcoming and professional.
    • Spacious and parking on site. Also has space for locking bikes securely in inner courtyard if needed.

    Cons -

    • Breakfast was a little clunky mainly because it is not done in buffet style with ordering the night before but perfectly fine and just a suggestion to have milk left out in a jug to save having to ask the waiter for more all the time!
    • Decor a bit tired but perfectly comfortable.
    • It was slightly irritating to have to choose breakfast the night before. The person on duty was perfectly OK, but was not exactly warm and friendly. However, we arrived quite late and left quite early and so we didn't really have time to appreciate the place.

Secluded courtyard off the road, 15 minutes' walk from the centre. We enjoyed the quirky furnishings and antiques, and the public spaces downstairs looked attractive. We had an enjoyable evening in the town's main square rather than the recommended isle restaurants.

It was slightly irritating to have to choose breakfast the night before. The person on duty was perfectly OK, but was not exactly warm and friendly. However, we arrived quite late and left quite early and so we didn't really have time to appreciate the place.

Parking was available, the studio room was so quiet, only the sound of birdsong in the morning, no traffic noise.

Most hotels make the bed every day and change the towels but not here. Strange.

Location was brilliant; reception fantastic; studio very good. Secure bike storage; secure wifi.

Provided a fan for cooling studio down which was bearable. Studio quite dark during day light hours.

We had an excellent time! The location was very convenient and the facilities were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very helpful.

I don’t really have anything negative to say about our stay! It was lovely.

Charming decor. The young man was helpful. Breakfast was great,

Bed was lumpy. Heaters didn't work. Shower was dangerous. Couldn't Shower without the dirty curtain hitting me. It was not a good value compared to other places we have stayed in Burgundy.

    A well appointed small hotel

Located away from the centre; not a problem if you are travelling by car

The host was lovely welcoming and helpful. The hotel isnot as quaint as it looks in the pictures but forwhat it costs it’s fine. Free nespresso and biscuits is a lovely touch and extremely welcoming of my dog

Bed wasn’t very comfortable and you can hear right through the walls of other rooms beside and up above. Wasn’t expecting to be charged to park my car in the hotel car park.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and informative. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal on the Isle following a recommendation to explore Chalon sur Soane. It is indeed a lovely city

This is a wonderfully quirky place, nicely secluded. The hotel feels like a grand home and has lots of art and arty touches. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, the breakfast is "made to order" - so there is no waste!

Upon arrival around 9pm the doors were closed and we had to ring for access. While that was no problem, it always feels a bit less hospitable, but we understand that in managing a small business this can be necessary.

Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Staff were helpful and the manager spoke English. We had to pay for parking and even that, when we came to the hotel late, there were no parking lots left, so we had to look for a public parking in midnight.

Friendly lady at the check in!!

The zen room was very narrow, could hardly stand next to the bed. Bit claustrofobic. The room smelled of the mosquito repellent they spraid, they offered me the spray can to add, it looked (and smelled) like a toxic chemical hair spray...not pleasant to sleep in (nor environmentally friendly) The garden that looks so nice at the pictures on booking is in reality a tiny could yard. The chairs are put away and the pool/tub is closed. It looks more like a pass thru. Such a pity would have been a nice breakfast place.

Homely and very quiet. Great parking too.

Breakfast was not very abundant (and coffee very weak), but that may have to do with late order and covid measures.

Well placed between beaune & bojo for winemaker visits

Shower like chinese tortureDoesn’t look charming like the pics - more like a sort of wooden halfway house or rehab centre Not recommended

Nothing special. It is closed to downtown.

Room size: Booked a Std Room and get a mini room. Bed size and comfort: quite small bed for two (twin bed turn into a queen) with not so good mattress.

Cosy place and very friendly staff. Loved it.We went with four dogs and there was no extra charge ??

Parking should be free, especially in low season when it's almost empty.

This hotel, our experience with your staff during two long distrance calls were horrible. This experience will be so rated on every web cite I can access when I return to the USA. Being told I must work this out with the hotel (who's staff never showed) and not having an advocate by your staff suggests everyone who uses your services to broker a room must follow caveat emptor... buyer beware. Your service failed 100%.

No staff present from approximatelty 4 PM - 5 PM. Hotel locked. Left and found another hotel. Will dispute any attempt to charge for 'no show' with Visa and am certain I will prevail. Did I say it was raining and your staff were not helpful?
