Hotel Hacienda Combia

Staying here was a wonderful experience. my family and I absolutely loved it. The possibility of doing the coffee tour in English and Spanish at the same time was wonderful for my little international mixed family. we learn a lot about coffee. the restaurants is fantastic, the view is wonderful. The rooms extremely comfortable and the staff incredibly friendly. it worth its value.

Noisy road, bad room, small bathroom.

Everybody is very kind, especially Jordi. We lost our way, we were confused, because it was the first time in the area, but Jordi took the time to explain to us the solution, and he made us feel really comfortable. Thank you so much.

The illumination through the way was poor, we were nervous. Maybe to have better illumination in the road.

Amazing stay in a unique location! The hacienda is just incredible. It’s super well kept, beautiful facilities and lovely staff. It’s an oasis hidden in the coffee region. The breakfast is very complete and and the options for lunch and dinner are great. They could increase the number of vegetarian dishes though. The coffee tour is a must, it was the best experience during our entire trip to Colombia. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before, do not miss it!

The wifi is a bit weak

We enjoyed the meals and fresh food. Staff was very nice. The pool and the birds we could watch was so spectacular. The coffee plantation tour was very special and educating.

The tranquility is surrounded by nature, exceptional restaurant and really friendly and attentive service. The quality and creativity of the food really exceeded my expectations. The room was a good size and I especially enjoyed the private terrace with a comfy hammock. A really good educational tour about coffee on-site.

The bed was a bit too hard for my liking.

Location and food was great but the best was Jordi, amazing service.

Noise.

The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The massage was equally excellent, adding to the overall sense of comfort and rejuvenation.

The rooms were small, outdated, and unappealing, with poor lighting and subpar air quality. Additionally, the ceilings were noticeably dirty, which added to the overall discomfort.

The nature of, full of birds, fruit trees and the view

The room was big and clean. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi that were also very nice. The view from the pool was amazing. The staff was very polite and the food was also super good.

We booked a couple's massage that was a waste of money. The lady did not put any pressure and it seemed more like she was only touching my back kindly.

Simply amazing, one of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in. Every single member of staff was super helpful and friendly but shout out to Jordi in the restaurant who went the extra mile. If you stay, book the coffee tour.

On picture the property seems very nice. The reality is different. The only nice thing is the nature surrounding the property.

Breakfast was extremely poor.Although staff was very helpful and trying to do their best, the options available in the breakfast were limited and of low quality.Although I have booked two large rooms the bathrooms weee extremely small.

Excellent location, good value for money

The only plus of this place is the swimming pool

- It’s basically like sleeping outside. It’s unacceptable to not have glass at the windows, to have 5 cm below the door under which all kind of small insects and animals can enter the room (we had a lizard in the room and countless mosquitos).- The roof of the room is some sort of sheet metal through which in some spots you can see light coming in. - The hotel is very close to a road where there is a lot of heavy traffic and lots of trucks which makes it very noisy. I understand that the hotel can’t do anything about that, however you can have noise insolation for the rooms! - The breakfast is very limited If they would charge half of what they do I guess it would be fair. But charging +80€ per night it’s unacceptable.

Hacienda Combia is located very nicely in the middle of cacao/banana plantains and has a stunning view.From the pool you got an amazing view and swimming is allowed until 10 pm.The hacienda has the charm of an old Colombian hacienda which is what we expected. Some animals are sharing the garden space with you and you have many birds and plants around.BUT: the Poolboy and the Housekeeping is amazing and very attentive!

We booked a room for 3 people and the space is very limited. Suitcases almost don’t fit in.However, some spaces and corners seem to be falling apart and need maintenance.The breakfast is a little limited and could be more diverse.But the main reason for me giving only 2 stars is the service. We arrived late at night and had a very inconvenient discussion about payment options. Even though I asked beforehand to take a payment over booking and got a confirmation by the hotel, at night they wanted me to pay by credit card. I asked to talk to the manager she was not available to talk (although 5 min before she was available talking tho the lady from the reception!). The next day no one asked whether everything is fine or apologised for inconveniences. The breakfast personnel is also not happy about any questions you have. Even though we paid for the breakfast anything further than a normal coffee (like cappucino, latte…) is not included. Further more you have to consider that the hacienda is a little of track. So for everywhere you would like to go you either need a car or transportation. The hotel only offers you very expensive taxi services 80€ for a drive where Uber charges you 34€. For me there is no service towards the cus tomer which makes the experience a lot less pleasant.

An oasis!!! Gorgeous gardens with amazing birdlife, lovely staff and good food. Plus a fabulous pool! Also a beautiful old building.

At times, the road is a bit noisy.

Location is good. Beautiful and peaceful views. Restaurant staff was amazing. Food was good. Overall great stay!

Overall everything was good although they could improve the entertainment facilities (where the pool table is). Also some rooms had termites.
