Naivasha Peppercorn Holiday Resort

Pros +

• I booked online through Booking.com and I got a confirmation through my email. When I called the property, I was informed that the facility was fully booked and there was no room available.
• This looks like it was once a beautiful resort- quiet and leafy with a good location not too far off the main road. However, when my wife and I visited in January 2025, it was a ghost town - deserted even by the staff themselves (they hide and you have to look for them when you need something), the pool was very dirty, the rooms are run down, the flush toilet was not working, they did not clean our room until we asked them to and even then, they only changed the beddings, the bathroom was dirty and smelled like weed, the WiFi was non-existentthe list is endless. The photos are a catfish!! Totally misleading! The only positive thing was the food (especially the stir fried greens) - quite flavorful, fresh and did not take long wait time, and is well priced. This is a message to the hotel management- the resort has so much potential. Please return it to its former glory (if that glory ever existed). And to anyone thinking of going here, do so at your own risk!
