ibis Granville Port de Plaisance

The staff was rude. They didn?t give me the water view I paid for. The air conditioning did not work; the room was so warm that I couldn?t sleep.

An excellent room with a view over the marina. There was a table and chairs on the small balcony too, which would be very pleasant if warm enough to sit outside - not during our stay.Staff were good.Food was very good.

When we handed our keys in we were told all was well. When I reached my next stop I received a message saying I'd not paid at the Ibis and that my credit card would be debited. The right amount was taken from my credit card but I don't like being told I haven't paid when the staff on duty said all was well. It turned out that I used a different payment card at checkin, which was declined when Ibis tried to take payment after I left. My card was subsequently cancelled (fortunately it was digital and easily replaced). The lesson is perhaps to stick around until the payment is completed?

A superb location, in a lovely room with a view over the Yacht Harbour. The breakfast is exceptional with a very good choice of everything, & the all the staff are very friendly. Parking is good, right outside the hotel, on the harbour. The food in the restaurant is very good, or you can eat on the terrace, weather permitting.It's a place we love to stay in & we are always sorry to leave.

We requested a room with a marina view. We advised we were bringing two dogs and to be honest, we'd expected to have to accept whatever room was available. Our room was first floor, with the most stunning view over the marina and super comfy. No compromise because we had the dogs. We sat in the evening sun and enjoyed a drink. The staff were really super. The breakfast is amazing value for money, continental, fresh and plenty of it.

Lovely hotel location with a terrace overlooking the marina. It is also near the town centre with pleasant walks and museums. Good nearby restaurants and pleasant staff.

Plastic mattress covers make you very hot. Rather noisey with window open. Would be great if breakfast was available until 10.30.

The Breakfast was excellent. View from room over the marina was a positive for this hotel.

Bar staff were not that great, said we could not sit in the restaurants terrace, until it opened, we wanted to sit outside, but the patio area outside the bar is exposed, and windy/cold, the restaurant terrace is protected from wind, just would of been nice to sit there instead of in the cold!

A) dogs should not be allowed into the breakfast room. A guest had a small dog in her arms whilst leaning over the buffet counter. Not hygienic!!!B) the receptionist who checked us in was surly and as we passed to and from the reception area never lifted her head from her phone. The receptionist who checked us out in the morning was smiling, bubbly and very friendly.

This has to be the best Ibis I’ve ever stayed at. The location is superb, right in the harbour with very easy access to the town, local parking and great sea views.The rooms are large and very comfortable with windows that open. Breakfast was good with good quality options.

Very well located. The restaurant has a much better view than the other ones in the port. The staff is very helpful.

Had run out of food

Party in boat directly outside room was very loud and went out all night . Would have expected staff to try and deal with this . Had no sleep . Room ‘ occupied ‘ on arrival . Relocated to another room .

Great overnight stop place enroute to ferry @ Caen. Fantastic location in the harbour of a lively small town.

Nothing was as expected no frills but good clean room. Breakfast was excellent.

Adequate as a usual Ibis hotel. fulfilled a requirement.

Not impressed when the 'resident' (Hotel?) dog cocked its leg & urinated up the curtain in the breakfast room, full of residents having their breakfast.It is audacious to expect guests to pay up to €11/day on top of the room charges for parking their car. There should be a dispensation for guests to have free parking.Location good and staff pleasant.
